It was even larger than our old mailbox, which we could effectively eat. There was a mounting bracket under the mailbox, which worked fine except I had to insert washers to secure the mailbox to the bracket because the holes in the mailbox bottom were too big for the screws that came with the mount. There could be a need to caulk the back as some reviewers have stated The light is coming through a little bit, but there haven't been any leaks so far, even after heavy rains. Currently, the door latches properly, although it is not extremely tight, so let's hope it does not loosen over time and fail to stay shut. As a result, I took one star off 4. I can do it if I could. In a heartbeat, I would give 5 stars. I will update this review if there are any This is a very large and excellent mailbox in terms of size. Item looks nice, and it arrived in good condition without any dents or damage.
No one has acted on the complaints of many. There is daylight visible out the back of the mail box, too. made a payment of It will cost me $ 00 for a mail box whose door I have to fix and for which I have to caulk the back. A new attachment plate was bought for me. As the mailbox is too small to fit the box, I cannot secure it to the post securely. I am not impressed with this. I think this product should not be bought.
The size is large, and the construction is decent. Here is the There's nothing to worry about. The size is large, and the construction is decent. This door is mounted with tiny pins and clips that meant it was a challenge to install, and it always fell off during installation. It was necessary to use tools to ensure the pins/clips were actually positioned. As far as usage is concerned, I am not certain they will remain attached. As a result of the design of the door, it has already had a marred finish and small dents at the bottom. My overall opinion of the product is that I would not.
Please be aware of the size of your post. It is difficult to use with an existing mailbox post.
The company will sell you the mounting plate, but it can only be used with post arms 16" x 16".
Consequently, a quality product, even one that is otherwise made of high quality material, is useless for any other sized post unless you buy one of the manufacturer's own mailman. My phone call to the company made me realize how sad it is, because it should be easy to make a docking plate that can accommodate, other sizes of As a bonus, I have access to a wood shop and will try to create a custom insert that will be mounted to my post arm. I will then attach a docking plate to this insert. Hopefully I'll be able to upload a picture of my workaround if it works.
Great job, I love There is a very long driveway in our neighborhood, so we often get small packages returned to the post office because they don't fit in the A nice/high quality mailbox that is this large therefore would be the nicest/best. Over a 4x4 post and cover from Lowe's, we installed the cover. There were some modifications required (extra holes were drilled to make it more durable) because it was not sturdy enough with just four I was very impressed with the product and recommend it to anyone with a long driveway.
A P has been a part of my life for years. I finally got a mailbox from my husband after convincing him that I needed one. Apparently it was the one I had to purchase because it had to be large enough to accommodate large flat rate boxes. Honestly, I'm shocked how big this is. No one thinks a machine like this could be executed in this way. It is true that times have changed, but hey, I guess things change. As the end of my driveway, I was worried that it would be very huge, but in fact, it doesn't look that The color I chose is pewter and the metallic paint job is lovely I can't help but think of a new car whenever I see it! I like how easy it is to open the box, and the traditional red flag is eye-catching. You can see on the front of the box that it has been approved by the Postmaster General, so they cannot complain if you use I would say that this box is of very high quality, and I anticipate it lasting a very long time. A mounting bracket would be nice to have, but it is not included. In case you are considering this box, be sure to purchase the mounting bracket to complete your installation.
It's amazing how cool this mailbox is. I looked for this one for a long time before I found it. The mailbox needed to be a durable large one that could also hold many of the shipping boxes that I get from Amazon. I expect this mailbox to last for a number of years since it has a very pleasant look from the road. As well as the metal post, I have mounted it with acrylic concrete/sakcrete. I could attach the mailbox to the post (which had a flat plate at the top) without any adapters.
It was nice, but I had to seal the back panel to stop the rain from getting into the mail.
