Our mailbox had been up for over thirty years and was in need of replacement. Mailbox works well with Gibraltar pedestals and fits with no problem. Due to the fact that the packaging was not padded on the inside, any damage incurred to the box during shipping may be permanent, since it is made up completely of metal. The box itself is very useful and looks great it has the only issue with shipping. I may not be able to give it a 5 star review due to the uncertainty of the condition in which the mailbox will arrive.
