It weighs around 350 pounds when empty. br>To move this camper around, I made two sets of dollies. I attempted to save time by using harbor freight casters, but they were not up to the task. These casters work well, and I needed 3" of height for my garage door opening clearance. If that hadn't been an issue, I would have gone with the 5" wheels because they have less rolling resistance. As a result, these three" are outstanding. Also, I don't need the lock feature, and these don't have it in the first place. br>I use this on a rough concrete floor, and they finely fill in the gaps between the cement, which are already full of small rocks. I'm not sure how they'll hold up over time, but I'm confident they'll last at least a year!.
The weights are easily handled by these wheels, and they move quickly. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a brake built in, so I have to use 2x4 beams to keep it in place while my kids play in it. Instead, I wish I had gotten one with a built-in brake.
They are simply far in excess of what I required. The threaded post is far too long for my project, but these are certainly sturdy. They're substantial and well-made. My husband claims he'll find a use for them, so they'll be put to good use. They do, however, stink.
We wanted our chicken coop to have sturdy wheels so we could move it around the property. The wheels roll smoothly even under the weight of the coop, and installation was simple. It's almost too easy: They will roll downhill quickly if you do not brake them on hills!.
These have a hospital-style design and are easy to roll. The large, silent rolling wheels were particularly appealing. For outdoor use, I used these castors on a moveable platform with a subwoofer, speakers, and a small amp. br>These are excellent for a variety of applications.
These casters are very smooth to roll and swivel on. I used these to replace some other casters, and they were a huge improvement. Even with a 200-pounder, they rolled very easily. load.
Bolt hole dimensions should be indicated by the manufacturer, but bolts are not provided. I was given bolts that were too long.
They're fine, though there could be a little less play in the bearings.
