Earlier this year, I purchased those casters to fit under a steel-framed workbench. Those casters are surprisingly sturdy (heavy duty built), and I wouldn't be surprised if they can handle 250 lbs each.br>My workbench is 100 pounds total, and I'm not planning on moving it around much, so it's not an issue. Finally, it depends on the application. If you plan to build a cart that travels long distances and has a lot of rolling and heavy weight, the bearings will eventually wear out and seize mechanically.
They are one pound in weight and can hold up to 175 pounds.
That is to say, each wheel will support a certain amount of weight. Four wheels will support a total weight of 1000 lbs and 700 lbs, respectively.

I needed them for a material cart I was working on. They were ideal for my application (as shown in the pictures). For the four outside corners, I used four double-locking casters and four non-locking casters. For the interior, there are locking ones. If you're unfamiliar with the term "double" locking caster/wheels, it refers to the fact that they do not roll or swivel when locked. The best type is the double locking, which has heavy steel mounting flanges, rolls easily, supports a lot of weight, and leaves no marks on the floor. I was especially pleased to see that the set included lag screws and washers for mounting them. Even if you don't need all eight wheels for your project, this is a great wheel set for the price.
They were mounted on workbenches and tables made of wood. On rough-finished concrete, they roll very easily and can withstand a lot of weight and pressure. Best price on casters with breaks that I could find.
I'm still giving it three stars because it's fine when it works, but the brakes aren't very long lasting. If you're going to use it, make sure you do so inside or somewhere where it won't get wet. If the metal used for the brake portion that presses against the wheel becomes wet, it will corrode and break off quickly. br>br>I had four wheels screwed to a pallet that I used mostly outside (two with brakes and two without). I only locked and unlocked it three times in a month. When moving the pallet to a different location four times, a piece of one of the brakes broke off, rendering it useless (the pallet is on a hill, and I need to be able to lock at least two wheels). br>br>Unfortunately, I wanted to buy more, but I'll have to look for a different brand that is more weatherproof.
I looked for my workbench, which required six wheels, for a long time. I wanted all locking but couldn't find any because most of them were four lock and four unlock. When the lock was engaged, I also wanted the rotation and swivel to be locked. They had to be able to support the weight of the table as well as any potential project materials. br>br> br>br>Color wasn't a major consideration, but after seeing these in blue, I decided to go with that. I decided to buy them because of the ) and all of the other values I found in the write-up. br>br>I put them on two days ago and am happy with them so far. They lock easily by pressing down on the large front lever, and they disengage equally easily by lifting the large lever with toes underneath or pressing down on the small part of the lever. They glide across the garage floor with ease. br>br> I haven't yet rolled them out on the driveway, but I think they'll be fine. They came with 1" bolts and washers and were very simple to put together. br>br>I'm hoping they'll last for a long time!.
I've paid a lot more for others that aren't even close to as nice as these. They're fantastic at rolling - But, let's be honest - I'm a jerk. It's only a wheel, after all. The locking system, on the other hand, is fantastic. They're usually easy to lock and difficult to unlock on casters. It's not much fun to wrestle with a locking mechanism on your hands and knees. br>br>However, locking and unlocking these wheels is a breeze. They are activated by a quick tap of your foot. Simple and lovely. I'm so happy I purchased them!.
These were used to make a rolling workbench that measured 75" by 24" in size. For my workshop, I intended to construct two workbenches. I'm very pleased with these casters after finishing the first build. On the front legs, I used two of the braked casters and the back legs, I used the free-rotating casters. The bench glides along smoothly, and the brakes securely hold it in place. I simply roll away from the wall to the center of my workshop, lock the brakes, and begin working. When I'm finished, I let go of the brakes and it rolls back against the wall smoothly. This workbench is built to last, and the casters are in excellent condition. I would strongly suggest it.
Heavy-duty construction. These are excellent casters; they can support a lot of weight, and I used them to replace a set of casters I purchased from a store that were not functioning properly. These are heavy-duty and smooth. The second set went on a table saw cart that I built. I intend to buy more in the future for other projects.
These are a great price point; I didn't realize there were four of each, but I was able to put my shop on wheels with them. Except for a significant price difference, there is no difference between these and those found in big box stores. These roll smoothly and are simple to put together. The lock works well and allows me to move my tools (Miter Saw, Bench Jointer, and Planer) where I need them while keeping them secure. I'd buy them again, but only if I could find all of the locking ones this time.
