They're good casters and should last a long time, but if you're going to be traversing rough pavement frequently, I'd recommend getting 3" to 4" casters. I really like these, but they're more for "In-Home" use. the use of the "door"

The bed can be used as an out-of-doors or as a trundle Our children's rollout bed had a broken set of caster wheels that needed to be replaced. This replacement set is fantastic, but we had to think outside the box in order to make it work. Because of the locking mechanism and the larger size frame to house its double ball bearing seal, this set is much larger than the standard low profile that came with the trundle set. The following are some of the disadvantages:
1) Due to the limited size of our trundle bottom frame, we couldn not use the 360 swivel of the wheel but only about 30% rotation but that is adequate for 2) This wheel set is extremely quiet and well constructed. Because our wooden floor isn't level due to our old foundation, the locking mechanism on the trundle bed prevents it from moving out of place. br>3) Because the casters on this set are about 1/2" taller than standard trundle casters, the top of the trundle mattress has just enough room to roll. within the trundle's frame The bottom line is that this set is a perfect fit for our needs as a replacement caster set for our rollout bed because all we need is to roll in and out and we needed a wheel locking mechanism because our standard trundle wheels set does not have wheel locking capability. If you want to use this set on your rollout bed, you'll need an extra drill bit to drill a second set of holes for the caster wheels. Furthermore, because the screws for the standard rollout bed are too small for this casters set, it does not come with any, so you will need to order a set of large wood screws. This caster set is a nice replacement for your rollout bed if you have the right tool and the right screws, especially if your house has a bad foundation like ours does.
These are appealing to me and I would suggest them. These have a top plate that is slightly narrower than a 2X4's width. which I had to attach to my project in order for them to fit. They appear to be in good condition. The swivel part appears to have about 20 ball bearings, and the axles appear to have dust covers to protect the wheels' inner workings. It was a little more difficult to lubricate them with silicon spray because of this. They swivel and roll, however, with ease. The only criticism I have is that the wheel locks are difficult to unlock unless you have a stiff toe and catch the top part of your shoe just right. As a result, you may need to stoop to unlock the door.

Little casters with a lot of sturdiness. To make them heavier, I bought a variety of machine screws with bolts. duty. I used these to attach to a large fireplace/tv stand so that I could move it around. Everything is in order. They came in handy a lot. I believe it was 12 or 16 in order to move the 65" television and fireplace entertainment center around more easily. It dragged more than it rolled when I tried it with fewer (8). It's now a piece of cake.
These are excellent value for money casters. There is a locking mechanism on every one of them. They are of excellent quality. I used them to hold my kayak holders so that I could easily move them around if necessary, and they lock solidly. It's simple to press down and lock the mechanism with your foot or hand, and it's also simple to unlock. They are individually wrapped and packaged in a nice box. These casters have a lot of appeal for me.
