3/4" is what I'd say.
Yes, screws are included to secure the caster to wood furniture. You'll need different screws if you want to attach it to metal objects.
I only had them for about a month in my planter stands. So far, everything has worked out well.

I'd like to make a dolly to carry my kayak on one end while holding the other end in order to transport it from my van to- I've been looking for swivel caster wheels since I've been alone in a lagoon. These were reasonably priced and appeared to be strong enough for my needs when I found them on Amazon. I recently received the item and found it to be quite well constructed, capable of supporting my kayak and providing a smooth ride to the lagoon on the sidewalk. Both the wheel and the swivel are mounted on ball bearings, making them silky smooth while remaining extremely durable. The purchase was a great success.
It took me no time at all to put these together. Lined them up, marked the pilot holes with an awl, drilled the pilots, and screwed them in place. They glide effortlessly across my uneven garage floor, even the expansion joints. The locks are truly secure. My rudimentary woodworking project was elevated to a much higher level by them. Rolling around the floor has a very professional feel to it. I couldn't be more pleased with them!.
They're built to last, and they come with some hefty mounting screws to boot! They're mounted on my 110-pound Ampeg 410 HLF bass cabinet. With just one finger, I was able to move the cabinet! Look at the video I created!.
These were used to build a bench for my router table. I don't think they could be any smaller. Even so, they function admirably. Locking and unlocking the door is a breeze. They are very easy to roll.
Straight up, this caster is very impressive; it appears to be well-made and, hopefully, long-lasting. They include the proper size screws to install them, which I really appreciate. For woodworking equipment, I'm using four sets, and we'll see how things go.
I bought a bunch of old wooden boxes and wanted to stack them so I could roll them all at once. br>These were purchased by me and my son-in-law-in-law-in-law-in-law-in- Everything was put in place by law. I'm happy about it.
I couldn't find anything comparable at Home Depot, so I'm pleased with these.
These were purchased for a work table that I keep under my carport, and they have performed admirably thus far.
