This is ideal for shop tools

These fit perfectly on one of my smaller workbenches (30"x84") and perform exactly as expected. Bending over and ratcheting the lever to raise or lower the wheel on each corner is a minor inconvenience. I love how easy these wheels are to use, and they glide across my shop's concrete floor like butter across a hot skillet! There is no sliding at all when the wheels are raised and the rubber feet make contact with the floor. To make the table slide at all, I would have to push with all of my weight, which is more than enough for me.

Superman is on the job

For my home-built flight simulator chair, I needed a great, easy-to-use locking caster. These outperform the competition! I have a seat from a recently wrecked car that is heavy and has full power options (it weighs about 100 lbs new). To fit these casters, I welded a custom frame (covered in auto carpet) and installed the seat. With the caster feet up, it easily rolls wherever I want. When I ratchet the feet down, it stays in place no matter how hard I stomp on the rudder pedals. br>Excellent product! FYI, if you're going to use it on a slightly uneven surface, you can raise these to different heights independently to perfectly level your piece.

This purchase has exceeded my expectations! I needed a caster that could also serve as a foot for a mobile workbench with a vice

These caught my eye as I was looking for a stem mount. I couldn't say no to these because of their price and design. I had to make a small adapter plate to mount to my workbench leg because they don't make these in stem mount. It took a little more effort, but I'm pleased with how the final product turned out. So far, I'm very pleased with them. I can move more freely around my workbench now, and if I need to crank on something in the vice, I can simply extend the feet down for a nice stable platform. AN EXCELLENT PURCHASE!.

A shop or garage with a concrete floor would benefit from wheels. I used these to make a rolling cabinet, and they work fine, but if you have wood floors (I have Hickory), they will leave indents if it's heavier. The wheels are made of a harder plastic and have smooth rounded edges, but they are a little narrow.

This set of casters was ideal. I attached them to 3/4-inch plywood with lag bolts and placed the cabinet and aquarium on this mobile cart, which moves easily and allows me to secure my system when necessary.

On my workbench, I have four of these. The 4'x6' bench is constructed entirely of 2x6 lumber. Very solid and heavy. These provide good support for the bench, are easy to roll, and can be adjusted. This is a fantastic set of casters.
