Questions & Answers
It appears to be heavy-duty, but since we are in South Carolina, I can't say for sure.
It was successful.
NO, THIS IS A COMPLETE SET OF PCS. UNIT
I wish I had the ability to respond to your query - The gate caster was not delivered to me because the carrier stated that the package size was too large for them to deliver to my address. The reason for the non-delivery is difficult to believe. I received a refund from Amazon for the cost.

The gate support wheel is exceptional. My gate now lifts into perfect latch position without the need for me to pull it up. The majority of gates will eventually sag, but this wheel eliminates the issue for good. The bracket is extremely sturdy, and the bolts that come with it are long enough to pass through a 4 by 4. The 5 inch wheel swivels easily on the caster bearing, but it needs to roll on a firm surface. When it changes direction in the dirt, it tends to dig in and come to a halt sideways. I solved the problem by creating a 'track' for the tire to roll on out of staggered ceramic tiles. My gate now glides open and shut with the ease of silk. This is the 250th episode of the series. There's no such thing as too much capacity when it comes to casters. Depending on how high you mount it above the ground or floor, the spring will only use what it requires. I used a C-bracket to mount mine. I used a clamp to test the gate lift until it was 'just right,' which took a long time. for me - is located in the caster's center. down the line Then I put the 'carrier' on top of it. 4 to the gate, with a few 3-pointers screws with a length of inch.
I specifically wanted one with a locking mechanism to aid the gate lock itself in high winds or if our dogs would bump it open after purchasing a few other wheels that didn't work out. Because the gate is not particularly heavy, I only used two of the bolts that came with it (see photos). If necessary, I'll add it later. I can't speak to the long-term viability because it's only been a month or so, but first impressions are positive. If anything bad happens, I'll let you know.
Many reviews of various models seemed to suggest that door weight was grossly exaggerated when I was shopping for this for my wood garden fence. So I chose the 5" model, assuming that it would be adequate for my 50-pound door. Wrong - This is far too much, and the 4" model would have sufficed. br>I'm very pleased with it!.
Due to the ground flexing and causing the gate to drag in some areas, I needed something for my driveway gate. This has resolved the issue and restored the gate's stability. This purchase has made me very happy.
Also, when the caster is set, does it continue to move?.
I was able to get it to work. I have an 8x6ft wood gate that sags just enough on the ground to injure your back. It's now a simple task to open it.
The weight of my gate is under 100 pounds. And the wheel's rubber is already tearing apart. I doubt it'll last as long as it claims.
Spring isn't capable of a speed of 250 kilometers per hour. The bracket must be referred to when the capacity rating of 250 is used. The spring is on its way. If you go over that, you'll hit the bottom and won't be able to go any further.
