My previous review (2 stars) has been updated. The company contacted me and promptly dispatched a replacement. So far, the new wheel has performed admirably on my shop table. br>br>I was hoping to fall in love with these tires. The wheel lock on my work table snapped after about ten moves, and the bottom of the table, as seen in the photo, separated from the attached top.
The casters are great, and moving the bench around is a breeze! I'll be purchasing more because I require additional work tables.
The wheels arrived in good condition and were placed on a stand that could hold around 60 - 70 people. The Kreg assembly board weighs a total of 80 pounds, including B. D is his coworker. While the wheels turned, the movement was jerky and made it difficult to position the unit where I wanted it, necessitating the purchase of new wheels from a big box store. Potential buyers should consider upgrading to a larger wheel in the hopes of being able to handle the CoolYeah 2" wheels' claimed capabilities. (It's worth noting that the rating is only for 2" wheels because that's all I've tried. ).
The wheels were extremely heavy-duty and would have been ideal for the purpose for which I purchased them. My trashcan, unfortunately, did not have a flat bottom. We returned them because we didn't have time to play with them or access to a trashcan. We received our refund promptly and were able to return the item to Kohl's for free shipping. We'll buy them again once we figure out what to do with them.
The casters perform admirably. They roll smoothly and are simple to set up. My only complaint is that they do not truly swivel 360 degrees. When I move the workbench to which they are attached, they tend to get stuck in their swivel. It wasn't a major issue, but it was significant enough for me to deduct a star.
It's a good fit for a house. For a small auxiliary work bench in my shop, I needed four lockable casters. This package included both, as well as four casters for a mobile plant stand. Casters are ideal for in-home use. rugs in the house The floors are made of hardwood. For garages and concrete driveways, the lockable ones are sufficient.
Exactly what I needed in terms of casters. One set is for a small table saw, while the other is for a saw grinder that weighs 400 pounds.
They are extremely effective. It's a good deal, and it'll save you money over hardware stores.
