This door is absolutely stunning. I'm a 74-year-old grandmother who installed it herself. Because I couldn't secure the metal door frame to the studs, I had to put up a support board across the top, and I needed assistance lifting the door to the rail. It is extremely durable and attractive. I'm making my own handle to match the towel rods in the bathroom.

Professionals who were renovating our bathroom installed this door for us. They didn't seem to have any issues with it, as far as we could tell. They did have to purchase a backing board in order to install the mounting track because it did not come with one. The door's sturdiness as well as its exceptional appearance impressed me. The frosted glass panels let light in but also provide privacy in our small bathroom. Through it, all you can see are shadows. It comes highly recommended from me.

It took about 2 hours to install and assemble the system. I spent 5 hours leveling the "rail" with a laser level. This is the most crucial step in the installation process. Depending on which side of the rail is lower, gravity will keep your door open or closed if it is not perfectly level. This is an excellent purchase. I wish I had bought it sooner.

  I'm extremely pleased with my door purchase. It cost a fraction of what it would have cost in a big store, and it was delivered to my door. It was a big box with a lot of weight inside. The door is made of thick, heavy tempered glass, and the wood is similarly heavy, indicating that it is of excellent quality! Up close, it appears to be fantastic. The instructions are well written and the assembly is very simple. This door would be stunning in any setting. I hung it in the bathroom of my master bedroom. Replacing an unsightly slatted door that lets in a lot of noise. Finally, a little more privacy, which enhances the overall appearance. With two people, door assembly took no time at all, but I did hire a professional to install the door on the track because it is such a heavy door and I wanted it done correctly. I wanted it to be level and perfect, which I knew I couldn't achieve on my own. My walls are plaster and would crumble if I hung anything, so I knew hiring a pro to hang it was the best option. He hung it in under an hour with all of the included hardware. You can't go wrong with this choice because it's such a lovely door!.

My only suggestion is to sell a header that can be installed over the door and used to secure the iron bar. We used one because the instructions suggested it, but it was inconvenient to have to buy one and paint it before installing the door. It would have been easier to install if I could have ordered one at the same time as the door. I'll be purchasing a second of these doors for my master bathroom. It's a great deal and adds a nice touch to a plain door.
