I have a 5-year-old GE refrigerator with two doors. It's been 6 years (and is no longer covered by the manufacturer's warranty). So, a couple of weeks ago, the main part of the fridge's door handle (likely plastic) broke off; This refrigerator has never been used by kids or anyone else for that matter. I couldn't believe a fridge with such a small amount of use would have such a poor-quality handle. This handle worked great as a "substitute" handle by simply drilling a couple of holes and using the screws that came with it (rather than paying GE a premium for a replacement). & I like the 'accent' décor it adds to the fridge (rather than the plain vanilla one that comes with it) as an added "bonus. " I'm considering purchasing another one to replace the freezer stock handle solely for cosmetic/aesthetic reasons, as I really like the black on white look this handle gives an otherwise uninteresting refrigerator.
This item was purchased to fulfill a unique requirement; The staircase to my basement has a very narrow opening. A landing with an outside door is reached via two flights of stairs. A traditional handrail could not be installed because the opening was too narrow and the stairs were too steep. This large cast iron handle worked perfectly as a stand-in for the original. It's a little shorter than a standard rail and bracket set-up, but it's strong enough to help me climb or descend the stairs.
We wanted something that could be used and enjoyed by five-year-olds as well as eighty-year-olds. Children under the age of five - This is the correct ticket. This piece is both sturdy and timeless. looking!.
Our pantry door was converted to a barn door when we renovated our kitchen. Because the door couldn't slide because of the kitchen's spacing, we needed a couple of rustic-looking but functional handles. All of that can be found in these handles. They're the perfect finishing touch to our pantry with barn doors. They were simple to set up and use, and they have a pleasant feel to them.
This handle is ergonomically comfortable and sturdy, with a rounded grip for your fingers. It's simple to put together and looks great. This handle comes highly recommended because it provides excellent value for money.
My only gripe is that it doesn't lay flat; you can't tell on the door whether we dented it or not; it's difficult to say.
I have two sizes of this handle, both of which were simple to install in my tractor and ORV for hanging on to. It's easy to wrap my hand around them because they're sturdy and comfortable. The quality is excellent.
This one has stood the test of time. My door is for the outside, but it would look great on an interior door as well.
