You can slide it one finger wide as long as you install it level and hang a square door level from the rails. However, although the directions are a bit off (as others have already stated), I did not have to rewrite anything. First, make sure you read everything, and then install the stops before bolting on the track. That step is not indicated in the instructions, so order them instead. The installation is much easier this way. In addition to this, the package came with bolts for a 1 3/8 door (a separate pack) and a 1 3/4 door (packaged in The anchors came with it as well.
