I bought these to replace the cabinets in my kitchen. They are sturdy and heavy hinges, but I had to return them because I needed a different type to properly fit my cabinets. I only took a star off because they aren't flat or matte black as described. They have a glossy black finish.

I was updating 80-year-old cabinets with painted and rusted hinges that couldn't be removed because they were fastened with flat head screws. For a much-needed update, this looks fantastic.

I intend to return. They do not fit my 1930s cabinets, despite the fact that they are inset. They're both attractive and durable. Putting one on was a snap. They're beautiful, but they don't fit my vintage cabinets.

My husband had some difficulties getting them to work for our cabinets, but after watching a tutorial on "setting" them, he was able to get them to work. The color is fantastic, and the price is even better!.
