They have a 5/8" overlay on them. As a result, for a frameless cabinet, 1/8" of the 3/4" front edge of the cabinet sidewall will be exposed.
The majority of cabinet doors are mounted vertically. Is it a horizontal swing that you're talking about? This hinge is unable to keep things open due to its lack of strength. It's a superior hing with a soft close. Try the Blum Aventos HK-H hinge if you need a hinge that will keep a door open even when it's heavy.
The hinge and the mounting plate are a single piece. If you're looking for a replacement part, I'm not sure what you're looking for.

In my kitchen, I had some regular close hinges left over from a previous remodel. The brand was Blum, which I recognized. I ordered these with the expectation that they would be easily swappable; this was only partially true, and it was not due to Blum's fault. Large screws were used to install one cabinet, leaving large screw holes in the process. So that the new screws would work properly, I patched them up with wood scraps and glue. br>br>I'm tempted to deduct a star, but the issue is with the seller, not the product, because there is deceptive advertising. A hinge limiter, shown in photo 4, reduces the maximum opening angle from 110 to 86 degrees. The shipment did not include this hinge limiter. I could have used them, but it isn't a deal-breaker. br>br>Photo 5 also shows a door spacer, which is useful if your door is too narrow. This, too, was left out of the shipment. However, it was unnecessary for me. Finally, photo 3 depicts a face frame mounting, which is a separate product from the one I received, which matches photo 1 and the description.
259)). The soft close was desired by a few who were failing. Before purchasing 20 sets, I purchased a Berta and a Blum set to compare. Berta isn't bad, but the Blum set has been improved in terms of both appearance and functionality. I can see why the Blums are more expensive. For me. Keeping Blum made it simple to replace, and installation was a breeze!br>Fit was perfect! I am very pleased with the product; in this case, you get what you pay for.
Note: There are no guidelines to follow. If you're replacing existing hinges, however, it shouldn't be necessary.
These adjustable hinges work great and are soft to the touch, exactly as you'd expect. It's a nice bonus to be so close to the action. You'll require a 1. Of course, you'll need a 3/8" forstner drill bit to make the hole in your cabinet door. The cabinet door must be at least 3/4" thick, or your forstner bit may protrude from the front of the door! Having self-confidence is also beneficial. pre-drilling with a centering drill bit Drill screw holes in the hardware's holes that are exactly in the center. I completed the installation using a hand-held cordless drill, and the results were flawless.
These are some very nice hinges. They provided the cabinets for our new home (17 years ago). ) The replacement hinges arrived quickly and were precisely what I needed. However, if I hadn't been replacing existing hinges, I probably wouldn't have been able to do it myself. Fitting them to the door requires some precision inlay work. For me, it was as simple as removing the old one, inserting the new one into the existing recess, and screwing it in place.
Purchase from a different source. It was simple to install these hinges for 110 degree Blum frameless using instructions from another supplier. However, when I tried to move one of them in one direction with the cam- It wouldn't turn even if I typed in the correct adjustment screws. I double-checked each of the four hinges' three adjustment screws - NONE of them were willing to change. Blum is real. Hinges that are manufactured adjust smoothly and easily. In none of the three directions did these adjust. I'm returning them and going with a different vendor.
These were purchased to replace my original Blum self-defense weapon. shut the hinges Those were fantastic, but as they closed, I became tired of the noise. I originally purchased soft close add-on clips to attach to the self-closing door. shut the hinges (Although they were adequate, these pure soft close hinges are superior. ) br>As a replacement for my existing hinges, it was extremely simple to install. I'm not sure how difficult it would be for people who are switching from another brand or installing it for the first time.
Because of the quarantine delay, IKEA would not be able to deliver the hinges until the end of July if I didn't find these. I was able to save a significant amount of time thanks to these: I couldn't find any instructions in the package and couldn't find any online, but I figured it out. It's fairly self-explanatory, and they're also gentle. close, which also works without a hitch. Overall, I'm glad I came across this ad.
Amazon has bundled everything you'll need, including the hinge covers, into one convenient package. Other stores require you to order each individual component separately, which can be confusing. The hinges are slick and work well. I did download an installation sheet from the BLUM website so that I could figure out exactly how to install the overlay and gaps that I wanted.
