Because it's been a while, I'm not sure, but 3/4" on the hinge side is the most I've done with 6mm off the edge. I imagine it's worth a try to do an inch with these because of the way they open. They'd be the first and only people I'd ever used who could do it. A jig for the drill press would be ideal.

It's good enough if you need your cabinet door to open all the way, and I mean all the way, but I've only needed it for a few specialty applications. The cup side holes do not line up with the Blum screw hole location, and the carcass hardware is inexpensive. The up-and-down movement is accomplished through slots, which gives the impression of being cheap. I suppose they're strong enough, but I was hoping for a higher level of quality.
Because the hinges on the cabinet doors were a little larger than the ones I had, I had to adjust them. It's difficult to get the right size, but we added an Awilda layer on the inside to help with that and it worked out nicely.
The hinge had to be 'clipped' onto the mounting bracket, which was a nightmare. Otherwise, it's a sturdy bracket.
There are no instructions for how to adjust the system after it has been installed.
It appears to be of a high standard.
The hinges were much larger than the original hinges and did not work, despite the fact that the description stated that they were a direct OEM replacement for the ones I had on hand.
It's exactly what I was hoping for. It's not cheap, but it's built to last. I was able to quickly and easily replace my broken one.
They had been. exactly. I found exactly what I needed.
