Questions & Answers
There are ten pieces in this collection. 5 pairs.
The reveal measures 3/4" wide. These swing out 1/4" further than the 1/2" versions, indicating how much larger your door is than the opening on both sides.
They're from the 38N series, but I'm not sure what part number they belong to.
These hinges were returned because they did not appear to be the same as the ones I normally use. I checked some Blum hinges I have, and they're marked "made in Austria." I'm not sure if they're made in a different country, but they seemed flimsier than others I've used in the past, and I'd never purchased anything from Amazon before. My personal experience has been the same.

The soft-closing mechanism works perfectly. The 0- The one setting on these is ideal for adjusting the speed with which the door closes. I use one BLUM soft close hinge and one standard hinge when installing cabinet doors. It saves a little money and, in my opinion, it closes better. It closes slowly at the end thanks to two soft-close hinges. br>br>With BLUM products, you can't go wrong, and these hinges are no exception. Before you order, make sure you pay attention to the overlay and measure the overlay you want.
Blum 33 hinges are perfectly compatible with this hinge. There were two screws for the hinge and one for the cabinet included. I used one for small doors and one for large doors with the Blum Compact 38N series. My old hinges were breaking, so I should have replaced them a long time ago. These close REALLY slowly if your doors are small (bathroom cabinets), so not sure if you want to use these unless you like to slam the doors shut because these won't. Because my doors are roughly double the size (21" x 25") of the small cabinet doors, I can't slam them shut or the cabinet will be damaged. If I let the door close on its own, it will do so softly, with no effort required other than a gentle push.
The product is fantastic in and of itself. br>I purchased the Blum hinges to replace the non-Blum hinges on my cabinet doors. Existing Omega Cabinets have slow-closing hinges. It wasn't as simple as removing the old hinge and replacing it with a Blum hinge. The cabinet doors did not maintain the same gap after adjusting the Blum hinge as they did with the old hinges. br>br>Either the gap was too large or there was none at all. To be clear, there isn't always an easy way to install slow close hinges after they've been installed. The fact is that there are some minor differences that may not be noticeable until the hinges are installed.
These are genuine Blum hinges that function properly. When two of them are used on a big door, it closes slowly. Only one hinge is needed on small doors of 24" or less to keep the door from slamming shut. We ended up using just one hinge on nearly all of ours, and they do a fantastic job of slowing down the closing. br>br>Find the right size from your old hinges: 1 1/4, 3/4, or 1/2 inch. In kitchens, hinges come in a variety of sizes, so inspect each one before replacing it.
shut the hinges These have a 3/4" overlay and are very functional. Blum hinges are my favorite because they are of high quality. I'm using these on some cabinets I'm building, and they're simple to put together and use. Drilling the holes and mounting the hinges is a breeze with the Kreg hinge jig.
I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or if the other reviews are paid or fake, but these are complete nonsense. Even when the soft close sensitivity is increased, the door will not close. If I push it hard enough, it begins to close, but at a painfully slow pace.
Build an entire kitchen's worth of doors and install them with these. They function properly and appear to be well-made. Only time will tell how durable it is. br>I did see other suppliers that included the little rubber door bumpers for the same price (unfortunately, they were out of stock). br>When ordering, make sure to measure your overlay.
They were strong and durable, and they were able to withstand a couple of re-uses. On the frame, there are a number of sittings. Even as a novice, I was able to get the doors to close evenly and snugly against the frame. The hinges have a good solid feel to them, and the soft close function is excellent. I was relieved to find that they came with the correct screws and instructions, which, when combined with a hidden hinge jig and Vixbit, made the job a breeze for a novice. From now on, this will be my go-to.
