It wouldn't hold as well as it would be if you twisted it. Install a far better drywall anchor than the ones that come with it - a stud or a much better drywall anchor

I agree! This towel holder should carry a wet bath towel as long as it is mounted correctly (stud). It is unknown if continuous contact with a wet or damp towel on the hook will warp or rust it at all as I have never used them for that purpose.

The hook needs to look like a hook, but it must be of high quality. It's used for the ubiquitous fabric grocery bags that are found in every pantry. This bag rack holds several bags and does not have any points that are protruding so it is kid-safe on the shelf or inner door when mounted lower. In the entry, we have several coat racks for coats and jackets installed in several places.
