Moen YB5103ORB Voss Double Robe Hook, Oil-Rubbed Bronze

For more than a year, I've had one of these hooks in our master bath. The finish is in excellent condition, and the thick hook makes hanging up my bathrobe next to the shower a breeze. It complements our Moen Voss faucets and towel bars perfectly. The hook is thick and durable enough to hold a bath towel. br>br> So I bought a second one for a bathroom where there isn't enough room to hang a towel bar next to the shower. The towel bar was on the opposite wall from the shower and was a little out of reach. This hook was able to be installed on a very narrow wall next to the shower, making it much easier to reach the towel after you've finished showering. br>br>Installation was quick and easy. Although hollow wall anchors are included, you will need to supply your own screws if drilling into a stud. This product has exceeded my expectations, and I would strongly recommend it.

My husband was hesitant to buy this online because of the price, but it turned out to be fantastic. We hung it on our bathroom door as a robe hanger. However, it is attached in an unusual manner. I would have spent a lot of time googling how to install if it hadn't been for my husband's presence. Screwing it in isn't as simple as it appears. It's a little more opulent than that.

I received two of these, and upon opening the package, I noticed that one had the fixing hardware in a sealed bag, while the other had it in a small ziplock bag. They appeared to be identical. I didn't give it a second thought until I installed it. The first anchor went in without a hitch, but the second broke or stripped in the wall and refused to tighten. No problem, I figured the second one would be able to handle the majority of the weight. That, too, was stripped/broken! So now I have two anchors in the dry wall that I need to remove in some way. I'm guessing I'll have to cut them out and then hire someone to repair the drywall and paint it. Don't waste your time with this product. br>br>Also, the finish isn't the same as an "oil-based" finish. It has a speckled finish, not "rubbed bronze. ".

My husband's robe is quite substantial, and the hook stays in place. The wall is solid. He was also impressed by their "mounting system," which made the installation process go more smoothly.

It was a perfect match for our bathroom set. It has a small set screw that needs to be installed. That is the standard design, but I prefer the spring-loaded version. We'll see if the set screws loosen and become more difficult to secure over time, based on my experience. It's not a cheap'stamped' metal design; it's a solid piece.

This will be used as a towel hook in the master bath. It can easily accommodate two bath sheets. I used four white sheetrock anchors in each of the four mounting holes when I installed this. I used a horizontal and vertical laser level (see my other review for more information). Although it looks great with just one towel, we use two and it covers the majority of the holder, but I still like it. br>**Updated 9/17/16*
Purchased another one, which appears to be just as good as the first. When only one towel is used, the hooks' tops are now visible and attractive.

The quality, finish, and appearance are all excellent. Before tightening the set screw that secures the hook to the base plate, ensure that it is properly aligned. This is a nice bonus for me because I didn't want a row of misaligned hooks.
