It's too small to be used as a bath towel. I'm swapping out the smaller hooks for larger ones. They appear to be attractive, but only in minor ways.
Your vacuum hose will not be able to use it. The hook is approximately 3/4" in depth. This hook is better for hanging a thin piece of clothing or something with a loop that can be hung on a small hook. These hooks are very nice. Simply put, it's not deep enough for your needs.
My set included one. It would be a stud if you used 5" screws. They're far too long for a door, to put it mildly.
It's made of metal, and it's hefty.

It can't hold much weight, but it doesn't have to. My "drunk octopus wants to fight you" hooks are some of my favorites. I got them on Amazon for a lot less money than I could get them in the store.
These hooks were exactly what I needed to give my bedroom some extra hanging storage. I installed these hooks on my door, and they've been perfect for a month. br>br>When using the included screws, make sure they don't go through the other side of the door. The included screws are extremely long, and they were only a few millimeters away from drilling through the other side of my door when I installed them. These hooks look and feel great once they're installed. br>br> I don't have to worry about my laptop pulling the hook out when I hang my backpack on it. The matte finish complements any decor, and I'm thinking about using the other hooks in my bathroom and entryway as well.
I would have given this 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the screws they sent were far too long for my purposes. They're about an inch and a half in diameter. These hooks must be installed on 3/4-inch plywood that is exposed on both sides. The screws used to be much shorter when I bought hooks like this in the past. I have screws at home that will do the job, but they will not have a rounded head or the same finish, so the hooks will appear to be a sloppy, sloppy installation job. I'd pay an extra dollar to have both short and long screws included.
These hooks are attractive and sturdy, but the wood screws that came with them were excessively long. I think this hook would look good on a closet or bathroom door, but the screws are longer than the thickness of the door. Fortunately, I realized this before screwing the other side of the door shut. I had to go out and purchase some 1-gallon buckets. In order to complete the installation correctly, you will need to use inch screws. Screws with a satin finish, number 6 (one) a single inch 25- You'll only need an inch.
The screws, unlike the hooks, are plain, inexpensive silver screws. Worse, the screws are so long that I couldn't even install the hooks on thick oak doors because the screws would have nearly penetrated the other side's surface. br>br>Including this type of installation hardware was a rash and stupid decision. Because I'm not going to go wandering around a hardware store looking for the right kind of screws in the middle of Covid 19, the hooks have remained unused. Why should the customer have to spend more time and money on this in the first place? It's a complete waste of time.
I was looking for something to go with some hooks I already had in my closet. The hooks themselves are narrower, and the back of the base is slightly indented, but the measurements are very close and they look similar. My guess is that they did so to cut down on the amount of metal required for installation. Because there is no template, it can be difficult to get the screws in the right place without the hooks leaning one way or the other. I would have chosen something else if I had seen them in person first because I could have compared my hooks to these and found an exact match.
For hanging my wife's multiple towels on the back of our bathroom door, these double prong hooks have proven to be the perfect solution. I was able to hang five of these double hooks on the back of our master bath door, providing plenty of storage for my wife's numerous towels and robe. These hooks were simple to put together, but I used shorter screws than the ones that came with them, which were apparently designed to mount the hooks on a wall but were so long that they would have gone all the way through our door.
The hooks are functional and match the ones we already have in our home. The finish is a little rough around the edges, but no one will notice. br>br>I'm giving this three stars because the screws that come with it are ridiculously long. They're 1 1/2" (38mm) thick, which is thicker than the average residential door (interior doors are usually 1 3/8" (35mm)). You'd use drywall anchors to mount these hooks in drywall; however, these screws are longer than most drywall anchors. br>br>So, whether you're mounting these on a door or a wall (which happened to be the two places I planned to put them), the screws are wrong, and you'll need to go to the hardware store.
