The adhesive is white when it comes out of the tube, but I'm not sure what color it dries to because it's sandwiched between two rocks.
It might work in the short run. Gator block stone adhesive is what I would recommend; I used it to build my patio walls, and all it took was two quarter-sized drops. It should be fine after a few hours. If you're looking to hang something indoors, there may be other options. However, I prefer the use of wall anchors.
There's no reason why it shouldn't be possible.
I believe it would work but I am not sure if it would work. For a cement block, it's a waste of time. I ordered this after being unable to locate the Loctite adhesive I had previously used; however, this product was about as useful as chewed gum. I was able to pull apart the blocks with little effort by hand, and this was for a tree ring that was about 6 block widths high. Thankfully, I had discovered the Loctite and was able to complete about two-thirds of the project with it. I went back and reapplied Loctite to the top blocks that were done with this product originally. br>br>Don't waste your time or money on this product.
We looked in several stores but were unable to locate it, so we purchased a different brand, which did not hold up at all! Five sets of two cinder blocks could be glued together with just one tube. Wait the required amount of time or longer before moving, and if the blocks do not sit flush together, get into the cracks; this will help it adhere even better. br>br>Work quickly once you've started because it will quickly become tacky and difficult to work with in terms of spreading it if that's what you're doing. This review was not written in exchange for a free product; I would buy it again, and I did!.
Used on the front landing edge of a small cement block. After a minor bump from my foot, the block separated, and I was surprised to find that the caulk had liquified, despite the fact that it had been set for two weeks. It was impossible to give it no stars because it deserved them.
The adhesive began to peel away from the stones after a week. I used a wire bristle brush to clean the stones before applying them, which I believe gave me the best chance of holding them in place. I couldn't get the adhesive to stick to either of the stones I was trying to connect. I ended up using pre-mixed mortar, which appears to be more effective at filling voids in irregularly shaped stones and provides more volume. This seems like a better option for gluing fax stone to a flat, porous surface.
After 44 hours, the adhesive on a one-inch bead used to join paver blocks hasn't cured, and the adhesive is still liquid.
It took a long time for the stuff to dry out. Two weeks later, the wall caps were still loose. There was no adhesion or stickiness.
To make this work, you'll need a lot of it. Out of 20 loose caps that I used this on the first try it worked 80% of the time on the first try of the time of the time of the time of the time of the%.
It went above and beyond my expectations. After a day, I set no movements at all by using a few dabs per block.
