Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use these with large black tar caulk? If not, do they have any larger ones that will fit my large black caulk?

I'm not sure how big they'll grow to be. I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't do so. They're similar to calk condoms and should fit any size; I've used them on smaller items like an oil can with no lid.

Can these be used on a 7? What do you do with a 5ml tube of watercolor paint that has a broken top?

It should fit because the bottom thickness of a standard caulk tube end is about that size, and they stretch reasonably well, but keep in mind that caulk tube ends are tapered.

In comparison to latex caulk, construction adhesive hardens 20 times faster in the spout. Will these be able to keep the adhesive fresh for a long time?

I haven't tried these on adhesive yet, but they do a great job of keeping air out. It's far superior to any other caulk I've ever used. I'm sure they'd work, but caulk and adhesive have a limited shelf life. Even if it isn't opened, it has a life of its own.

Is it possible to keep them for a long time?

They appear to be very effective. Polyurethane, latex, and silicone have all been used with them. Even months later, all of them are still working. It works really well if you put the cover on and squeeze the caulk gun trigger just enough to leave a small amount of caulk at the tip under the cover. That was something I learned from one of the reviews or previous question answers on this site.

Amazon failed to deliver the first order. anyways. It appears to be very similar to a well-known brand, but it is significantly less expensive. br>br>Why are there four stars? I kept track of s' and guffaws, as well as packing each tool box/bag separately. I only received a score of 148. Although a score of 150 or 152 would have been preferable, I believe I can overlook the error. If and only if they stand the test of timebr>I also tested a few on pencils to see if they would puncture, which they did not; may I point out that these are meant to be installed like a condom; Roll down by pinching the tip. Puncture isn't forced on you. br>br>I'll check back in a few weeks to see if I have any caulk tubes that aren't solid, and if so, I'll re-caulk them. If it's usable, I'll give it a five-star rating. tip: I also vacuum seal my more expensive caulk/sealant tubes (such as 3M 5200).

Then I'd waste half the caulk and half the project trying to get a clean bead to run. This works so well that I can pop it off for a quick fix and replace it, and the caulk is always soft and ready to go! Now I just have to explain to my husband why he kept this from me all these years!.

This is the most effective method for preventing caulk from drying out in the tube

This isn't perfect, and the caulk does go bad after a while, but I've had good luck with it and prefer it to any other option. You can use them on glue bottles and other similar bottles or containers where the contents would dry out if there was no good seal at the end, in addition to caulk. br>br>Buy the larger package; you'll use them more than you realize.

Your caulking tubes have birth control

All you need to do is hang your caulking tube up once and let it drip into your other tools to come up with a perfect solution to the mess. These tiny rubber condoms get the job done. There will be no leaking, and the caulk in the nozzle will remain soft and usable. br>Reusable, soft rubber with a bright red color that is easy to see. They immediately paid for themselves. This was money well spent.

I'll never understand why tubes aren't sold with caps on them. Caps are sold for $6 at a big box hardware store, which is absurd. So I decided to look on Amazon for some ideas, and I came across these. I bought them after a good laugh. These are a fantastic idea, and they should be available in Big Box stores. These Caps Are Effortlessly Effective! For years, I tried a variety of methods to seal caulking tubes after opening and only using a portion of the contents, but by the time I needed it again, it had hardened or dried up and had to be thrown away, forcing me to purchase another full tube

I happened to come across these and decided to give them a try, especially given the low price, and they turned out to be excellent and provided a good seal. They're simple to slip over the tube's end and roll down, then just as simple to roll back up when you're ready to use them again, and they're reusable. The contents of the tube were just as good as they had been when I first opened it. I'd buy it again if I needed it, but I think 50 will last a long time.

My contracting firm is a great example of this. My employees would always use half of a tub of caulking and throw the rest away. Alternatively, if you only use a quarter of the tub, it will end up in the trash. br>I know, it sounds petty. br>However, if you're spending $500 on something, it's a different story. 00 a week in caulking, money quickly adds up. br>Since I purchased these CLUAKING CAPS, I have saved a lot of money.
