It is common for inexperienced individuals to purchase fiberglass fabrics, not understanding the purpose, the limitations, and the application. It will then leave a horrible review, indicating it did not work. They should have acknowledged that their attempt in using it "off label" was ultimately what failed. Since this is my first time using a fiberglass membrane, I cannot comment on whether this product is better than others. There was nothing weak about it and it seemed quite hardy Definitely the right person for the job. Since I have never worked with this type of product before, I cannot compare it to anything else. I found this product to be very easy to work with and was able to achieve the results I needed in waterproofing my shower board. I would highly recommend it.

As a painter, I have my own business. There were two tarps made of rubberized material that were extremely expensive. Stain projects should use this product. It's long and wide. It was a sad sight to see. A fiberglass membrane and Big Stretch caulking were used to adhere to mend the large tears. The two expensive tarps were put back to work and the loss was prevented!.

It's a good deal more expensive than vinyl but it does the job to join shower wall backer boards leak-proof. My only critique is that this is a bit thicker than other products on the market, and you have to make sure that the seams do not bulge out too much. As far as price goes, it does a good job.

This product meets an unusual need/application well. I had an unusual application and it met it It does not work well for applications that do not trap moisture. The product is very useful for applications where drywall paper must be compressed.
