I checked into this and we found item 4. Thank you for your time. The outer diameter is 21 inches by two inches. Please accept my thanks for the 45''ID!

The item is made of what kind of material?

It has a very dense texture, and is about 1/8" For a light fixture outdoor, I used it to seal it, and it compressed nicely and sealed perfectly.

This product is hard to use and is difficult to seal well

A thin and flimsy gasket is too small for this machine. In radial dimensions, it is only 1/8" larger than a 4" light housing, and it is too thin to stay in position, so its perimeter flexes rather than being squeezed all the way around like it needs to be in order to seal the light. You can tape the outside to keep it in place, but caulk seems more efficient. If I'm spending that much time, I might as well use it.

The size is too It is impossible to use these because they are too small

I guess I can say it was my fault for not checking the size but I don't see why they can't just make the area larger and allow it to be trimmable or something like that or perforated like with the screws. This was a lesson learned for the better, thankfully it wasn't expensive.

I wanted to add a water-proof layer to my outdoor security lights. Although there were not as thick and long-lasting as they could have been, they did the job as long as the price was right.
