The cover serves as a cover for exterior light switches The deeper the model, the more openings there are going to be for the cord to go through. The one presented here is not suitable for those who plan to plug something in. The only way to close the box while anything is plugged in is if you drill holes into the case yourself. In the instructions that came with the device, it is stated that it should be disassembled It is not necessary to remove the cord ports. It's a return on your part.
This was used to hang a couple of horizontal mount duplex receptacles outside that did not need an in-use bubble cover. The cord certainly cannot be plugged in permanently, but if you need a cover for an area that can just be plugged in temporarily and closed back, this is the one There are many styles of low profile covers available, but we think this one is a very nice alternative to typical "In Use Bubble Covers. ". As long as you don't need the cord plugged in on a permanent basis at the location, you won't have any problems.
The only modification required for it to work for me was to plug the cord in at all times as there is no opening for it to exit. This would be great for a switch cover rather than an extension cord for permanently. Otherwise this is a great deal and great It can be modified if you know what you're doing. My response was yes.
I needed a replacement for my faded outside outlets and found this clear, simple solution. It is recommended to caulk around the outside if mounting to a surface that doesn't have an adhesive Like hardiplank or brick, it offers a smooth service. This thin cover has a nice look, and it is clean and clear, but you'd need to open the door to use it. It gives the exterior of the house a much more modern appearance.

Luckily, I came across this low-profile one as I was nearly ready to buy the deeper one. It was right next to a door, which made it an ideal location. Despite its proximity to the brick wall, the gasket was flush on the surface.
The one on the right was actually a vertical light switch, while the other was Easy, and it will keep the contents of your home completely dry even when the wind blows rain in the opposite direction.
The only feature I would like is that there are knockouts for an electric cord which will be permanently attached,.
