The price was better than Home Depot or similar stores and the covers were included. The tamper resistant outlet set is installed throughout my home since I had the old style and wanted to ensure it would last after my infant was born. Despite the fact that they are a little more difficult to plug in, they will not shock your child if their finger accidentally touches.

For the first two outlets I installed, there was no thread cut for the holes in the wall plates. Because the included screws have no Phillips heads, it will be difficult to force those into the wall without chipping your finger or getting a hole in your.

I was shown how to do it by my electrician It made me feel sorry for myself. I still have questions about the wiring in the house we bought so he fixed what he could, but I'm pissed that it wasn't done properly. Get a certified electrician if you are not sure. It was not a good job done by the inspector. I am a little pissed, but am glad I have friends. Make sure they check every outlet, electric panel, etc. The name of the pete is Peter.
