It was extremely simple to put together (we simply used carpet tape on the bottom). ) For our lifting area, I ordered two 4'x10' rolls. They're made of recycled tires and are extremely long-lasting. There was almost no rubbery smell when I opened the box, which was nice; one thing to note is that they are not all cut the same. I understand that our house is old and that not every room is square, so this could have been a contributing factor in our problem. Although there is a small gap between the baseboard and the mat, it is barely noticeable due to my drapes. It wasn't a big deal; I was able to square off the outside edges, the ones that were clearly visible, without having to cut anything, and that was the most important thing! In addition, they were perfectly aligned side by side. There should be no bowing in the middle on either side. Overall, I'm 100% pleased with this purchase and I'm confident that our gym floors will outlast us!.
I ordered two of these 4 x 15 ft mats at the same time over a week ago, but only one was delivered, so I ordered a third, which arrived today (I'm still waiting for the second mat from the original order-- I'm glad I didn't cancel delivery because it would have put me even further behind schedule). When I went to put the two mats together, I discovered that one of them wasn't 15 feet long! I double-checked the packaging and order, and they both say 15 feet. So now I have to return this ridiculously heavy mat that I can barely move and hope that the next mat delivered is the right size. In addition, the two mats are made of slightly different materials. The 15-foot one had a corner ripped off right after unwrapping, but I'm just glad it's long enough at this point.
A number of these rolls are being used as the floor for our basement home gym (which is built on top of cement). It's a fantastic material, and the off-white color complements it perfectly. The amount of gassing was very low (and far less than I had anticipated). We used to have a log cart with rubber tires that were 10000 times worse than these and took months to get rid of. fully fueled These mats, in comparison, were fantastic! They are light and easy to walk in. We lift weights, do yoga, and jump rope on the floor, which is fantastic. Footprints can be easily removed with a damp cloth or mop.
The Ranger Design floor, shelves, and American Van parts bin were among the items I purchased. The Ranger floor looked great, but it didn't have the grip I needed to keep smaller boxes and my tool case from sliding around in the van. Even with the smoothest of driving, I couldn't keep my 50lb tool case (on a rubber floor mat) from sliding! I placed an order for a quantity of seven. ft long by 4 ft wide would have been ideal, but that wasn't an option, so I had to make do with a seam that is hidden by my tool case, so it's not a big deal.
Anyway it took about an hour and a half to measure and cut the mat to fit into my van in and around the base of the racks, wheel wells,% It looks great, seems to be very durable, and is easy on my knees when I'm inside the van retrieving parts, tools, and so on (which is a bonus I hadn't considered because my knees aren't getting any younger). It also helped to reduce road noise, which was a nice little bonus! br>br>Only time will tell if it can withstand the abuse I'll subject it to in the future, but given how many razor blades I used to cut it all out, I'm confident it will. Since this stuff is designed for use in gyms, it appears to be up to the task. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> The Floor Mat is still holding up after a month of normal use/abuse, and it keeps EVERYTHING from sliding around. It did exactly what I needed. I'm in a great mood!.

I would strongly advise using a strong tape such as Gorilla Tape to tape up seams. Using weaker duct tape had been a pain in the past, especially given how heavy and difficult this material was to work with! (Seriously, this stuff is dense, so proceed with caution!)
