Ordered three rolls to lay down in our third garage, which is being converted into a fitness center

Within 5 minutes, I was able to lay the first two rolls. To keep them in place, I used double-sided sticky tape. Then I put in the third roll and had to cut 10" off one side to make it fit in our garage. That cut-off piece was used to add extra padding to doors. Very sturdy, solid material, and it looks great on our new gym floor with the padding. Stand up to our two large dogs who keep an eye on us while we work out. In comparison to precut squares, it cost half as much and took a third of the time to install.

A yoga mat is not required

This is definitely something you'd find in a gym or a weight room. It's not quite 8mm thick, but it's incredibly strong and will undoubtedly withstand a heavy weight rack or other equipment without denting. We bought this for our workout/yoga area, thinking we'd be able to use it as a giant yoga mat, but it's too hard on the knees, and you'd still need a yoga mat or a knee cushion. The grip quality is excellent, and you won't slide; we cut ours in half to make a large square, and a down dog over the seam did not cause the two prices to separate due to the weight and grippiness. br>br>If you're going to do any jumping or high-impact activities, you'll need to wear shoes. That, too, is lacking in cushion. br>br>It's pricey, but it appears to be well-made and will cover a large area.

It's long-lasting and simple to put together

This was exactly what we were looking for as we convert a portion of our warehouse into a gym. We've been going to Orangetheory for years, and the flooring is very similar to what we've seen there. It's tough and lightweight, making it ideal for floor exercises.
