You read that this would make a great hybrid finish for a beech butcher block top, and you are right! It's not a finish that has to be oiled regularly and doesn't need to be topped with any oil. Stunning matte/low sheen matte/low gloss finish that is safe for food. The color of the wood was more vivid with clear color. A number of videos have been viewed about the app. I am satisfied with this product. I sanded the top surface to 120 for the first coat, but it's too rough to use as a countertop, so sanded it to 220 the next time and did a second coat. The finish is perfect! Measuring the mixture was done by using 2 syringes. It's probably best to get a 4-pack so you have enough for a couple projects since this size will probably do more than one. However, it doesn't last for long after you open the cans (even if you don't mix the I understand that this is not a product you can use the leftovers from in a year.
