Is this product suitable for use after Minn Wax Oil Vased Stain?

Generally water based products can be applied after staining as long as the stain (if it is fast drying) is allowed to dry a little bit more first When applying a water base, you should wait at least 30 minutes after applying a stain base or oil base

In my case, I used half a bottle the first day and the other half the next (I had to shuffle furniture along the way). A gloss floor was laid on the first day and a flat floor on the second. What's the reason?

If that happens, it almost always means you didn't stir the product in the first place. According to what I understand, you poured the top portion out without stirring it, then coated it with the unstirred glossy portion. Because the second coat was flat because of the untouched part of the satin at the bottom, the satin on bottom wasn't stirred. Once you have your desired finish, you can recoat again. You will need to stir the new coat for a few minutes

This product can be used on cork floors? In a statement, the company states that it is preparing I can seal the bag again if I want to. Bona recommends a product, but which?

As far as I know, I have only used Bona on hardwood floors to achieve results that exceeded my expectations. You will probably gain hard edges from impregnating a soft surface with a relatively expensive varnish that will probably lead to a hard surface<extra_id_20>. What do you intend to gain from doing this?

There are products that are better, but there are others too
4/5

I liked the product and it There is one reason why I did not give this five stars the price, which is higher than that of some other very good choices. There are many reviews that mention how low the fumes are, how fast it dries, and how clear it leaves. Bona Mega does not have these properties - they are typical of water-based polymers in general rather than of Bona Mega specifically, so I cannot credit them It is recommended to apply a minimum of 3 coats, and perhaps 4 since it is a very thin coating. Although there may be reference to 2 coats, it is best to apply a minimum of 3 coats to ensure even coverage and a good protective layer. two hardwood floor projects I completed, both of which I stripped the prior finish to bring the wood to its bare state. My other project I have done previously with Rustoleum Water Based Poly, which is almost half the price. I was satisfied with it, but after reading the reviews, I decided to splurge on Bona. Both products dried in 2 hours. Three coats of Rustoleum were needed for best results. It seemed thicker, but did not require as much time. Apart from that, I can't really tell much of a difference, with the real test to come as the fabrics wear over time. Rustoleum was the company I used on my project about five years ago, and it has held up well until now. However, the results I am getting have been satisfactory. In my 24 x 20' room, I used 2 gallons. It takes so much time and money to prepare and apply the paint that the difference in cost is not as dramatic as it might seem. It may cost me $60 more to use Bona over Rustoleum, and I would also say that the product differences are.

I really like the product
5/5

I found it to be very easy to use this product. A short learning curve in a mud room gave me the confidence to tackle the living spaces. You will have to spread it smoothly and evenly because it dries quickly. It will be possible to walk on it in socks after a couple of hours to apply a second A minimal amount of fumes is produced. 24 hours after disinfecting the floor, you are free to walk Be sure there are no pebbles or grit left on your soles. Once you've placed furniture back, as long as you don't drag it, you can put it back within 3 days. It takes 7 days for the floor to fully cure. To me, the T-shaped symbol was the best As I felt that the Bona roller feathering method required a great deal more skill than I possessed, I chose the bar applicator method. In the past, I have watched several videos on Youtube about this application. It's a good idea to watch the videos first so you can watch them again. There is a video that recommends having a strategy for exiting. The importance of this cannot be overstated. You should ensure you can exit the room and keep plastic bags close to the exit to place used applicators in. While you are doing the application, keep a bucket near the exit to collect used applicators. If possible, it is also best to "walk" the room first with your applicator to get a better idea of how long it will take you and whether you will really get to Any unusual turns, bumps out, etc. , should be carefully watched.

Definitely a polyurethane you will like! Bona brand products are worth every penny, and I can say that after using this product for the first time, I definitely won't be looking any further

I found this product to be very easy to use as it was T-shaped A smooth and flawless application was made possible by the bar applicator. The job was completed in three hours and I managed to cover 900 square feet. It is 3/ft. It took one day to put on two coats. Using the T-, I received an application in a timely manner It has a square footage of 900 square meters. It is 3/ft. I think Bona did a great job in 2 hours.

For new stair treads, this is an excellent product
5/5

Earlier this year, we pulled the carpet up from our staircase, which is a focal point of the house when you enter. My wife and I live in a one and a half story home with a balcony that overlooks our As a primary element, the staircase plays an important role. In the process of pulling the carpet off the steps, we discovered the stairs to be thick particleboard, which was awful looking, and was not cut well enough that a cell phone could fit through the gaps. For this reason, we bought oak retrotreads with risers to cover the

I used Varathane stain, which I let dry for two days to make sure the water-repellent properties of the stain hold up If the urethane is water-based, then it would stick. Put on two coats of Bona varnish, then sanded, and had another coat of varnish applied to Due to how lightly I applied the stain, I didn't want to risk sanding into the stain after the first coat. The weather was 65 degrees when I varnished outside. Within 15 minutes, the paint had dried! used the same area to paint my stair treads with four coats and finished in five hours. I used an oscillating battery powered finish sander and a 180-grit sandpaper and this took off the high spots. Burnt through the varnish, but not the wood. My observations were that it was quite durable, and only needed a short drying time. I would definitely buy it It would be nice if it cost.

Mega Fantastic is a perfect description of Bona Mega
5/5

This product has proven to be well worth every cent so far. The low-odor formula can be applied easily, lays down uniformly, and is easy to clean. A water base enables you to apply two costs on the same day ( then wait 12 hours, and you can apply a third). Please don't apply all three within the same 24 hour period. I am not familiar with its durability, but I have heard it is extremely tough & durable A scratch-resistant coating is included.

This is definitely a product worth buying
5/5

The topcoat is really good. As well as the sealer, I used a brush. There should be 2 coats of This is an odorless product. The application process is easy. Using a cutting in pad and premium roller will help you achieve the best results. There is no need to buff this varnish since it dries quickly. A good choice would be the Bona line of training videos on youtube that are specific to the product. Lumber Liquidators can be found at Lumber Liquidators where the floor is #2 Oak. The color of the grain is gunstock. Using Minwax oil base stain, I stained my furniture. IMPORTANT NOTE Don't walk on the sanded floor with stocking feet before staining it. When you step on hard surfaces, the grain can raise and the foot prints will take the stain differently, making them more visible. It is only possible to remedy this problem Please re-word Replenishment of sand If you want more information about "footprints in stain", you can Google it.

A polyurethane that is of the highest quality
5/5

It used Bona products when I had my wood floors professionally refinished. I was very pleased with how quickly it dried. As a result, when I needed to refinish the wood floors in my Colorado cabin, I ordered the Bona online since it was the only one I could find. Rolling it on with a roller and drying it quickly proved to be easy. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the floors turned out. There is no sign of wear on the floor after two coats of stain repellant. It is easy to keep the floor Wood floors are the only thing I use on my house.

The product is great A beginner can easily use this
5/5

There's not much an idiot can do with this stuff. I like the way it goes fast and ends well. Be sure to bring a t-shirt to the party The tool does not come with a sleeve and it provides an edge tool for cutting corners or A semi-normal person There's not too much shine with gloss, but it still looks nice I love how it magnifies the colors and grains in our hardwood floors!.
