How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
This left-hand wound torsion spring is used to replace garage door springs that have broken.
207 in. x 2 inch wire size x 20 inches on the inside colour coded in orange length
It's critical to correctly install both the LEFT and RIGHT springs when installing dual springs.
Spring has a lot of things to do with being still. The use/purchase of item no. GD-52238, as well as a thorough understanding of wire size and handling, are required for replacement.
Right-hand springs are mounted on the left side of the center, while left-hand springs are mounted on the right side of the center (looking out from inside the garage).

Should anyone be interested, there are eight full turns required for perfect operation
5/5

These were purchased in pairs. They work great, and my doors are now much quieter and smoother, though this is most likely due to my realigning the doors to the tracks. I have two steel doors that are 7 feet tall and have no lights. Should anyone be interested, I torqued my springs to 32 quarter turns (8 full turns) for flawless operation. The springs, as well as the drums, rod bearings, and cables, were all replaced. Please double-check that you have the right rods for the job and that you are fully aware of your surroundings. If you don't know what you're doing, this can be a very dangerous procedure, and some of the you-know-what-you're-doing. Tube demonstrations are risky because they don't go over how to unload multiple springs completely. Just make sure you're well-versed in the underlying principles.
