What is the maximum weight that this set can lift?

In order to support 150 lbs, two springs of ID= 2" and wire= 0 are required. I measured 207" long, which is 24 inches. I am 75" tall, and I weigh 7 pounds. The weight of the bicycle is 9 pounds, and the cycle weight is Despite their small size and weight, these springs are very strong. In order to lift a door weighing 150 pounds with a single spring, you can attach the following The ID is 2, the wire is 0. It has a length of 39, a value of 262. The weight is 16. The height is 25. The weight of 28 lbs and the number of cycles is 29,000.

Using 4" pulleys on a 16' x 8' residential door that weighs approximately 250lbs, how much tension should be applied to Could you please clarify what measurement 234 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 30 inches long means?

Each door has a specific set of springs based on its type. Identify the thickness of the steel, whether it is insulated, and the type of construction if the top panel has windows. Springs are rated on a precise weight, not an estimated weight, so if you weigh your door, pick the springs that are designed for the weight.

WORK IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO EXPERIENCED MECHANICS

This is a great set of Make sure you have the mechanical skill to install them if you intend to do it yourself! It is imperative to correctly identify the replacement springs for garage door torsion springs and know how to carry out the task Also, you must have the right tool, and you NEED to file down the ‘ridges’ in the rod that hold the springs, to be able to pull the springs out, the cable hubs out, and the rod through the bearings at the end. For a replacement metal center bearing to adhere to the rod, I found that sprinkling a small amount of penetrating oil was often necessary. In addition, I did step 3 (which is an optional step. There is a plastic replacement center bushing that comes with the springs, but I ordered a metal bearing type and used that instead. ).

It has been several weeks now that springs have worked great
5/5

I can pick up my 8 ft. truck with ease now that I have these torsion springs. 16 feet tall by 16 feet wide. When one of the original springs broke, we had to lift a garage door so wide that it basically took us three people to lift it. The garage door and the hinges on a heavy garage door are not easy to grab hold of, as my wife and I needed to get our vehicles out of the garage before the repairs could be made. So perhaps that is the reason why lifting with a broken spring is so difficult. It was not easy getting 34, 1/4 turns with the winding bars, but I am glad I got the springs and the winding bars together. If these springs last as long as the originals, which has been 17 years, I will be very pleased. During the first 10, each turn was easy, but after 20 it gets harder and harder. Turns 30 through 34 were especially hard. The tallest door is 7 feet tall, which means it takes only 30 turns to open. Unless you have some experience, the winding bars are a must-have if you're going to do this on your own. Observe the safety precautions in the youtube videos and follow them accordingly.

This is a great deal for a product that is installed and ready to use

You want to replace the torsion springs on your garage door, but you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on it? Answer This is what you need to do. The gauge, diameter, and length of the springs need to be the right measurements, and once you have those, you're good to go. I found the installation process to be easier than I expected, and you can replace the motor in less than an hour if you have the right tools. This is a kit that includes As an aside, if you were wondering about the winding bars, you will need them. With out the torsion spring bars, the springs cannot be wound. They can be made yourself, but the torsion springs come with them as well as the mounting ends and stationary ends already installed on them. The prices on other online stores for each spring were close to the cost of this complete Approximately 30 turns were needed for each spring 5) in order to achieve the appropriate tension to easily assist with both manual and machine door opening.

It's time to call the police
3/5

Neither of the winder sticks fit the winder holes on my garage door. Now I need to decide whether I want to use something that I can find since it fits inside the winder holes, or send it back and wait another two weeks for my garage door to open. This spring may explode if it unwinds while it is installed! The risk of suicide is too high for me! In my experience, they are too big to fit into In case I am killed, please call the police and have the man responsible charged with manslaughter. Using a substitute winding stick is irresponsible considering the seriousness of the consequences if something goes wrong! I know I am responsible for my own safety, but these people are irresponsible!.

Thus far, everything seems to be going well
5/5

The springs did not cause any problems for me. According to the description and size I selected, I received exactly what was described. It is important to know the exact size of the garage door you require. In the event that you ordered the wrong size and wish to return it, a return fee of 12 dollars applies. After installing the pairs a month ago, they are still there. So far, there have been no problems. If you are a DIYer, I strongly suggest watching one or more DIY videos showing how to install the springs from HD, Lowes, or YouTube. The other clips do not offer tips and tricks like some of the other clips do.

My local garage door repair shop charged $160 to change these springs, which is less than what it would have cost by a specialist

I called around to find out how much it would cost to change these springs by a specialist. My search on Amazon led me to these springs, which I bought. My repair was accomplished by watching YouTube videos, following safety procedures, and doing it You will find all the tools you need in the product, you just need to be careful with the installation. As an engineer, I am very meticulous, which is why I did my research before repairing this because it can be It is very important to be careful.
