There are two of these in the set. This cable is exceptional. I bought a pair of S-type shoes. hooks on their own It simplified the job.
You could, I suppose... But there might be more useful items. You'd have to make a lot of changes to the product as it is currently packaged. Is there anything on Amazon that looks like your clothes rack that you could look at?
Extension Springs are used on overhead sectional wood and steel garage doors.
Hello: br>The hardware that came with the set I bought was missing. Make sure the hardware you use can withstand the energy generated when the cable is under pressure or, more importantly, when it breaks (which I hope never happens).

Two carabiner quick links were also included in my package, allowing you to secure one end to the track angle iron while 'locking' the opposite loop end under the extension cable hook. Any sloppiness can be easily covered by making a loop at the quick link end, similar to tying a knot. Just be careful not to overtighten it. For our door, which had never had safety cables, it took us 5 minutes to thread safety cable through the spring and anchor both ends. There's no need to cut anything or use any tools.
Except for the lack of a screw and nut to secure the wire near the garage door, this would be an excellent product. I had to think outside the box to fix it, which is a nice way of saying it was a pain in the a$$.
Consider how much it would cost if one of your garage's springs failed. This is a very low-cost way to avoid injury or damage. Everything about the kit was ideal.
br>br>I came home from vacation and my garage spring was in half and a piece had shot across the garage. Fortunately, it did not collide with the vehicle. Having this safety cable gives you peace of mind for a fraction of the cost of a new screen or having a dent removed from your vehicle. It takes about 5 minutes to put it together. br>br>.
Great safety feature for garage door springs, as I had a spring fly all over the place after it snapped, and luckily none of the kids were in the area at the time. Attach these cables to each of your garage door springs - for the sake of your family's security.
The price is excellent, and the instructions are simple to follow. It's designed to be simple to put together. Material and construction are of the highest quality.
Other reviews gave me the impression that more bots (not included in the package) were required. However, the package included two quick links (one for each cable), which I used to connect the cable's other end. Although a good product, it is a little pricey.
These replacements were installed on my insulated garage door (which is quite heavy) and are still going strong after 4 months.
