Questions & Answers

The 41AC050 number Do you think this will ?

It is the main board that has a part number, while the motor sprocket has its own part number. For the sake of getting the kit in case other parts are broken that you aren't aware of, it is better to get the kit. I never perceived the kit as being all too expensive, as I often thought it was just the sprocket alone. Commonly found in door openers that open multiple doors.

What is the fitability of the 41A2817?

The part number for the replacement kit comprised of worm gears and drive gears is 41a2817. As well as these gears and other miscellaneous parts, the 41c4220a kit includes other miscellaneous parts. As you can see in the picture, they are there.

How easy is it to install this linear ldo50 garage door opener kit?

In the case of a chain drive, I believe it will.

This is the motor I have, and the gear assembly is the same, but I'm having some trouble. The belt I have is not chain, but belt. Would it be possible to replace the sprocket just by swapping it out?

You can't remove the belt from the top of the motor since the gear and sprocket are one assembly and your motor is for chain drive and not for belt, so you can't take it apart.

Liftmaster Security 1/2 HP chamberlain model At the best price I have seen, it was exactly what I was looking for
5/5

The plastic gear wore out, so I was tempted to just buy it, but as I matched it up, I could see that I also needed to replace the chain sprocket as well. This upgrade is for you. Adding to the convenience is the fact that I didn't have to remove and install spring pins that usually fall to the floor and disappear into the 4th dimension. The mounting flange comes with threadless screw holes, and you may have read reviews and/or watched videos of some folks complaining about it. There is no doubt about this. It will appear that the flange is a stamped piece of soft steel and the screws are a hardened piece of black As a result, threading is not necessary in As soon as the screws are turned, they will self-tighten The threads will be installed when you tap There is a caution to be taken It's easily overlooked by those aligning the screw holes of the flange with the pass-through holes on the cabinet that large, square holes are present at the base. It is for the sprocket guard, which needs to line up with the chain rail otherwise you won't be able to re-align the guard I had trouble with my Garage Door Opener gear in April as it celebrated its 19th birthday. At this point, everything seems to be working perfectly, and I do not see any reason why it won't survive to turn 38. Then I will include instructions in my last will and testament on how to fix it. You'll enjoy it.

Worked for me
4/5

I found the process of removing and replacing a replacement easy after reading other reviews and watching a few YouTube videos. An issue with the small gear on the bottom of the shaft, which turns the door limiter, was responsible. As you can see in the picture, it is there to a certain extent. The old one was fine, I just used it. You might want to begin the screws before you put the plate in position. The threads will not appear until the self-taping screws are inserted. I find it much easier to cut the threads on the A safety cover is placed on top for protection of the chain and toothed Prior to closing every thing up, make sure the 2 slots are aligned. It will have to be opened all over again to turn it in the right direction if you do not. Learning the hard way was the best way for me.

From 10 to It normally takes about 5 business days to receive a replacement part, and it is supposed to work "seamlessly". It was difficult to use this unit due to a series of issues. There were no threads already cut into the plate that held the gears, no matter how old they might have been. Then I went to two different hardware stores to find the 10 Dash 24 tap and die set and handle that I needed to amplify the threads into the holes in the plate that holds the gear mechanism to the housing of the garage door. My mistake was assuming that the only thing I would have to do was re-thread the holes once I had threaded them properly The gear mechanism must then be bolted down and the chain must be attached and the project is complete. However, the situation did not unfold in this fashion. I had already installed two of the bolts from the inside through the top of the housing that secures the gear plate, but when I went to install the third hole, I realized it actually existed outside As a result, I would need to remove the motor to put the bolts in their proper locations. Moreover, once the plate was installed and the bolts were installed below it then became evident that the chain guard was installed in the 2 o'clock position and was not going to fit In order to install the chain guard, I had to remove the bolts again and rotate the gear plate counterclockwise. Then, I had to drill new holes through the housing and bore them so that bolts could be fitted into the gear plate from the bottom upwards. Despite the fact that two of the bolts matched up with the new Halls, the third bolt that was next to the garage door and over the housing of the motor would not accept a book from the bottom without removing the motor, which was not an option for me. The solution I came up was to drill a second hole at the 1 o'clock position from the top small enough to accept a self tapping metal screw, so that the screw stayed in place and would not rotate more where the bushings touched. The holes were drilled in the proper location, and the holes also were tapped out to accept the screws, so I should have been able to finish the job within an hour or less. The pair of trips to the hardware store needed to purchase the additional tap and die set required to thread the bolt holes ended up taking more than four hours. Additionally, the device I ordered was not in stock on the day I ordered it and I had to wait two days for it to be shipped. Afterwards, I noticed that the mounting bolt holes did not have threaded inserts in them when I went to install it. As a result, since my garage door had been broken for two weeks already, I did not want to waste a lot more time having to return the part, run to UPS store, and spend even more time repairing the Other than the holes not matching, the gears all matched perfectly, and I was able to finish what should have taken less than an hour at the end of 4 1/2 hours. So if you choose to purchase this part, be sure to open it as soon as possible and confirm that the holes are threaded before gathering all your tools, taking the ladder into the garage, and putting it on top of it to discover that there are no threads. Return the faulty part as soon as possible, and you can avoid the stress and frustration of purchasing a faulty product.

That's one crazy money-making scheme What a saving! We had a problem with one of our power garage door openers two years ago
5/5

In two years' time! It would have been more sensible for us to spend our money on other things rather than a new opener, which can be quite expensive Our garage door opened manually, so no big deal, just a pain to have to jump out of the car, walk around the garage to the side door, and dig around for the keys. Once inside, you'd have to release the door so that you could open it I hate it. Because we didn't know how easy and inexpensive it was to repair rather than replace, it took us two years! There was a way too long period of time spent like this. A few minutes later, the opener of the garage on my side stopped functioning! I don't agree! Suddenly after a bit of research online we came across this neat little repair part! My husband was super skeptical, but it was really easy to replace and he was able to repair our garage door openers with just a little tweaking! For around $20, it's not bad when compared to the cost of a brand new system and hiring a professional to install it for you. In the event that we have any further problems, we will definitely fix them.
