I think so! I told you it was exact. My operator was 12 when it spun off the top drive gear (due to grandkids playing with it and hanging on to it). It's clear what to do from the instructions. As I didn't have my 3/16 drift pin tool, I ground the edge off an equally sized nail to drive out the old parts. I've been using it for about a year now without any issues. My Liftmaster garage door opener gear/sprocket needed a replacement. This item was the perfect match. The sprocket on my bicycle broke a couple of weeks ago, With the help of YouTube how-to videos, I found this replacement online, and presto, everything was back to normal. includes all the tools and grease you will need. It turned out that I needed more replacement parts than I needed, so the unused ones will be kept for future use. Exactly the same as the original and works perfectly.
When I called LiftMaster about the problem with my garage door opener, our tech diagnosed that I had to replace this part. The man who helped me told me I could buy it on Amazon for half the price. In this case, I was able to do the garage door repair myself and avoid the time and cost of hiring a professional to do it. My only complaint is that the instructions weren't as clear as they should have been and getting the pin out was extremely difficult. I ended up clamping the motor with a vise because it was the only way I could get it to stand still so that I could get A punch is required to remove a pin so you will need one if you don't already have one.
