A broken gear sprocket meant I had to buy a new garage door opener and install it, or else I would have to buy a new screwdriver. We would need about $300 for this project. I was looking for just the right kit for my needs, and this was it. The original door had been installed by me, so I knew how to install a replacement. In the absence of any garage door installation experience, I do not recommend it.
