It may be best to get a tool that makes it easy depending on how many you have to do. As I was doing 3, 4, and 5 I thought my hands would fall off! I used a manual one.
The middle posts can be used for both ends and you can pass through the middle posts. Be sure to leave about 3/8 of the thread showing when you install cables. Use tool provided to tighten cable, but do not tighten too hard or wire will come out. Cut cable to desired length, crimp, then tighten with tool provided. Hope everything turns out well for you

I bought these stage lag screws with 1/8 inch cable and 1/16 inch head This is a crimper we recommend. After crimping, it was difficult to get the cable to stay in place. It is recommended that 3 crimps be made 1/8 of an inch apart and Rotate the crimps 180 degrees between them. In fact, I have tried both 4 and 5 In addition to five crimps, I did 35 crimps A total of 11 attempts failed. Although I am not new to cable crimping, I use this product for the first time.
