I'm looking for a 4. 875 inches x 4 inches What are the dimensions of the 875-inch post caps?

I have flat post covers now; will this fit on top of them? If that's the case, do I need to use glue or can I just place the cap on top of the existing one? Please accept my gratitude. ?

The 4 in. x 4 in. The inside measurement of the gothic post cap is this measurement. That is, it will fit over a post sleeve or post that is slightly smaller than 4 inches on the outside. If your flat post cover's outside dimension measurement is slightly less than 4 in. If it fits over your flat post cap, you'll need to secure it in place with glue or a screw.

Although the title says 5x5, the product description says everything is 4x4. Is it going to fit a hollow 5x5 vinyl post if I choose the 5x5 option?

If you choose the 5x5 option, you should get a post cap that fits a 5x5 vinyl post, which is exactly what I got. It is extremely well-fitting and attractive.
