The following is the company's response to my inquiry. This isn't number three. 5" x 3. 5" caps. br>"Three and a half inches equals three. " 625" is an eighth of an inch bigger than 3. 3 5/8" vs. 50" 3 1/2). These will fit a 3 1/2" (3. 25 cm) diameter hole in a 3 1/2" (3. 25 cm 5") post with an extra 1/8" built in to accommodate post irregularities (imperfections). 1/16" inch per side for imperfections equals one eighth inch (1/8") extra buffer per dimension, exactly as engineered. As a result, these are 3's. 5" post.

I had just finished painting my house and needed to replace the post caps on the front steps. I had never liked the cheap-looking plastic housing on the old ones, which were solar led lights made of plastic. These caps are extremely attractive. Metal is thick and glossy, and the paint is in good condition. Despite the fact that these were a little wider than my posts, I was able to use the same screws and holes as the previous post caps and avoided the use of adhesive.

I bought two of these fence post caps to replace the original plastic caps that had come loose on my Long Fence, which had been installed in 2009. Two screws are included with the caps, which can be easily installed through the pre-drilled holes on the side of the caps. These caps haven't rusted or come loose as of yet. Although the price is a little high, the quality is excellent. In addition, the cap is a perfect fit for the 4x4 post, which I highly recommend.

These look great, are extremely durable, and are incredibly simple to put together. They won't need to be replaced at any point. They won't rust, bend, or rot, and squirrels won't eat them away. As a good-looking, long-distance runner, They're incredible term post caps. As I replace the flimsy aluminum/tin ones used by lazy fence companies, I've installed nearly 40 so far. However, they will almost certainly cost you as much as these. This is the best option for a new or old fence.

They're made of a single piece and are quite sturdy. With a little free play, they'll work fine. and screwed them in place with the two screws that came with them. The raccoons aren't going to be able to get these off the posts, I don't believe.

This cap is ideal for improving the appearance of the post and, more importantly, keeping water out of the end grain, which will extend the life of the post. br> The cap is well-made of high-quality materials and was simple to put on. br> These are the caps I recommend.

These caps are well-made and finished to a high standard. Screws are included and each one is individually wrapped to avoid scratching. They were simple to set up and produced a fantastic result. I installed 4x4 posts and wanted to give them a nice finish.

These new post caps are well-designed and have a nice feel to them, despite the fact that they are cast aluminum (I believe) rather than steel. stamped. Each of the 11 caps was carefully packaged, and upon delivery, they were all in excellent condition. The clean look and overall quality are very pleasing to me. To round off (pun intended) my projects, it was well worth the purchase price.
