The 60 series only has a lid.

This machine is not compatible with Philips Respironics' 50 series of machines, which are very similar.

If the water tank is filled beyond the maximum fill line, the humidifier or therapy device may be damaged. Water may leak out of the tank inlet (located on the back of the tank) if the water tank is overfilled when the tank lid is installed. In the tank, only use distilled water that is at room temperature. No chemicals or additives should be used in the water. Remove the tank, empty all water, and replace the empty tank before transporting to avoid possible airway irritation or damage to the water tank.

What is the difference between a 60 and a 50 series machine?

A three-day event is planned. a three-digit number followed by the letter "P" (for example, 550P). It's right next to the serial number on the same label. It is a 50 series (example 550P) if the second and third numbers are both 50. It's a 60 series if the second and third numbers are both 60 (for example, 560P).

It's impossible for me to remove my lid. I wanted to clean it before using it, but I couldn't get the lid off. Is this a flaw or an intentional feature?

Through the round hole on the top, you can get to the latch by lightly pressing it. It is NOT the two clips on the outside back that hang down into the tank; those work in a similar way to hinges). The doctor always gives me specific locations to order from, but either they are pushy and want to mail me more than I need in order to get more insurance money, or they are only open when I am at work, forcing me to take time off work to go pick up the items. They only want to give me the bare minimum when I do, so I have to take annual leave or sick time to get my supplies every month. I was worried it wouldn't fit when I saw it, but I took a chance and ordered it anyway, and it fit perfectly. This is an exact match for my PR Humidifier Water Chamber / System One 60 Series. br>Equivalent to original and just as durable. br>If the Humidifier Water Chamber runs out of water and the temperature is set to 4 "OR" 5, the heat will compromise the seal's integrity. br>Amazon has a great deal.

I'm overjoyed that this came my way; I'd been trying to get new ones for over a year and no one was willing to help. This is one of the most important parts of the machine; it is simple to clean and maintain, and you only need to replace them every now and then. Yes, I'm fat, like 30 pounds overweight, and this contributes to my loud snoring and sleep apnea, or so my wife claims (clearly to make me lose weight). She has no idea that as a child, I suffered from sleep apnea. I'd wake up in the middle of the night, bolt upright, and wonder why I couldn't breathe. Then I learned about obstructive sleep apnea. But I was in my twenties, standing 5'11" and weighing 170 pounds. That ain't fat, to be sure. Fill this thing with water and you won't piss off your wife, end of story.

If it fits your machine, it's a great item; I had to use the lid from my old chamber because it wouldn't fit with this one, but it's good quality and doesn't mold as much as the old one

how to get it unlocked This was a perfect match for my previous CPAP machine. It appears to be identical to the original. br>br>One thing to keep in mind is that the reservoir has a latch on the inside. To unlock the top, place your finger in the hole at the top and press against the plastic latch. That didn't occur to me at the time, and I was on the verge of returning mine.

The fit and function are perfect

These last for years, but the little snap that keeps the top firmly attached to the base tends to break off after a while due to wear and tear. It was a perfect match for my Respironics system.
