Questions & Answers

If I'm going to use these with tea leaves, how much should I use and what rh percentage should I use? I live in the Philippines, where the average humidity is 79 percent. ?

I think 62 will help keep your tea fresher by lowering the rh. I'd also experiment with the 55 to see which one keeps your tea the freshest.

Is it necessary to put this in the same container as my flower, or does it require a "special" jar in which this pack must sit in the lid, away from my medications?

Simply place it in a jar glass.

What is the purpose of the replacement indicator? What makes the indicator turn blue in the end?

The indicator strip detects the humidity level as long as it remains constant. The indicator knows the pack isn't working if the humidity drops below 62 for an extended period of time.

These do not function properly. It’s only at about 2050% after 24 hours in my crypt brand container in my crypt brand container in my crypt brand container in my crypt brand container in my Is there anything that I'm overlooking?

If your flower was extremely dry, these will not be able to fully restore it. These are used to KEEP the humidity level at a certain level. Put a small piece of potato in your container for 24 - 48 hours if you need to raise the humidity to a manageable level. Allow 48 hours for the flower to absorb water. Remove the potato and replace it with the Boost when it reaches your desired level. A piece of potato about 1/2" x 1/2" in a quart container should raise the level around 10% . For the first couple of weeks, keep the lid tight and burp the jar once a day, then once every few days for the remaining weeks. After that, you'll only have to do it once a week.

Make sure you follow their instructions to the letter
5/5

I've been using it for a couple of months now. I put a hygrometer in the jar and check humidity every couple weeks and it is within 1% of 62%. It doesn't give the bud any additional smell or flavor. I will continue to purchase these because they work exactly as they claim.

It's a win-win situation here

The precision is quite good. It takes about a week for it to start working, but once it does, it transforms your dry herbs into perfection. It's the best investment you'll ever make, aside from using orange peels.

If you start at around 62, you'll be fine
3/5

To get an ounce of dry herb to 62 degrees, I used three of these. The best way to do it is to use a humidity meter and lettuce or carrot slices to get the herb to 62 degrees Fahrenheit, then use these packs to maintain that temperature. I had herb that was 50 and it took two packs of this to get it to 62 in a week. Once you've gotten the humidity right, use these to keep it there because they're terrible at bringing it back up from being too dry.

It's as if you don't have anything at all! I followed the directions
3/5

In the jar, I placed the packet and card. The humidity at the time was 54% and stayed 54% for days. There was never a time when I climbed or slid. I started with moist paper towels as a test. I could raise the humidity in the jar to the upper 70s or lower it to the high 40s by leaving the lid off. Keep in mind that the packet remained in the jar throughout all of this. It was as if there was no food in the jar at all. It certainly never kept 62% of the environment. What a complete and utter piece of scum.

Use a moist paper towel and a ziplock baggie to get started
5/5

We had a lot of success with these. Our method involves humidifying a ziplock bag with a damp paper towel while also putting one of these in it. I tossed the paper towel and left the pack once the paper towel had dried and the herbs had reached a reasonable moisture level. Herbs stay moist for a long time, which helps to extend the crop's life. I'm hoping that this will be of assistance to someone. Nowadays, all of these fancy jars are available, but we find that the ziplock works best for us.

It's not up to par with the competition

They were kinda dry when they arrived, and they barely maintained 60% after rehydration.

The product was completely useless! These are a complete waste of time and money

Boveda is the way to go. I purchased these because they were a few dollars less expensive, you got 12 instead of 10, and they were individually wrapped. Shipped and received in a timely manner. I waited while I put two in with my herbs. And then there was nothing but waiting. There was no action taken. I was fed up after a week and ordered the Boveda brand, which I put in two of. I'm using half the amount because these are 4 gram packs and the integra boost is 8 gram. The herbs were perfect over night, so that's all there is to say about that.
