I bought this filter twice, and both times the blue tab came with them.
That model number is nowhere to be found. Could you please send me a link to an Amazon humidifier?
We've made use of these look-alikes in the past. alikes. They've done an excellent job.

It also shows a picture of the Holmes filters with the blue tab, but you will not receive those; instead, you will receive a generic version that requires you to put the tab on. When I told them about it, they basically said I could return it. Advertising that is deceptive!.
I ordered these a couple of times, thinking the first time I got bad ones, but they were just as bad the second time. After only a couple of nights, the filters begin to yellow and the black netting begins to crumble. I tried to be meticulous about keeping everything clean, but these filters simply do not last very long. It's also odd that it comes in a three-pack when my humidifier only requires two. When I realized I'd made a mistake, I decided to cut my losses and buy a humidifier that didn't require filters. I'm not sure how these got a nearly 5-star rating. They are, in my opinion, largely ineffective.
I've been using these humidifier filters in my son's room for a few weeks now, and they appear to be of good quality. I won't know how long they're supposed to last until I use them for a longer period of time, but after several weeks of use, there's no visible mold or discoloration. They're a perfect fit for an older Bionaire humidifier because they're the same size and material as the originals. While I couldn't find the exact filter type specified by the humidifier (it's old), I did find these to be the same as the ones specified by the humidifier, but with a different part number. It makes no difference to me because they work perfectly. br>br>The ones I received had the blue tabs (picture) in the exact same place as the originals. The filters fit perfectly in the slots and absorbed the water exactly as they should. If your humidifier uses this type of filter, buy these instead of the less expensive but lower-quality no-name brand filters. br>br>My only complaint was that they came in a three-pack. (It's still a five-star rating) I'm just ranting about a great product). Because my humidifier only has two filters, I had to choose between having one extra filter and purchasing three more. 4 extra filters are included in the package. After using the filters for a few nights and determining that they were effective, I purchased a second box to keep some spares on hand.
The consistency of over-the-counter medications is similar to that of over-the-counter medications. spaghetti that has been cooked. Between my fingers, it disintegrates easily. At the bottom, it has also started to mold. My previous filters lasted for years but never came close to this vile mess. br>br>I'm guessing the filter isn't drawing water up into it anymore because of the mushy bottom. The humidifier fan works fine, but it is no longer effective at humidifying, which I assume is due to the filter. Now that the reservoir is full, it will stay that way. br>br>I've reached out to the company and will update my review once I hear back.
When the time has come to. Two filters are required for my humidifier. Both must be replaced when the time comes to replace them. A 3- I'm left with one extra filter after unpacking the pack. I wish they were available in two sizes. a four-pack pack.
My Honeywell humidifier required this filter. The filters are of the same size and fit together perfectly. It should be noted that the filters lack the "button" found on OEM filters. In addition, their make-up is distinct. There is no black plastic webbing; instead, a different type of soft absorbent material is used. br>These appear to be some of the older OEM filters from a few years ago. The presence of a coupon that had expired in 2014 in the pack was one clue. br>However, the filters fit well, appear to be functioning properly, and were delivered quickly at a reasonable price; who could ask for more?.
I'm from Arizona and own a Holmes model HM7808. We've probably had it for about 2 years and have only changed the filter by soaking it in vinegar and rinsing it. I purchased this three-piece set. I bought a new pack of filters because I finally remembered, and we now use the humidifier every night. Despite the fact that I only needed two, I purchased all three. Because it was less expensive, I chose to pack. What a stark contrast! They're simple to replace and inexpensive when you consider how much use they get, especially if you rinse them out yourself on a regular basis. I will definitely buy from you again.
I've had this humidifier for ten years and have never had any filter issues until the last three years. This is a waste of time. They don't wick and become hard after a few days; I assumed it was my water, so I started putting reverse osmosis water in the reservoirs, but that didn't help. It appears that I will need to purchase a new humidifier. I'm not going to purchase another Holmes or wicking style.
