The model number you listed matches the one on the box I received. It should work flawlessly, just like it did for me. In comparison to local dealers, this is a fantastic bargain. When installing the new filter, keep in mind that while it appears to be the same on both sides, the filter has a top and bottom side. Make sure it's installed properly and not backwards.

I was looking for a replacement pad for my AprilAire humidifier and saw that this one would work, so I ordered two. It looks like it will do the job for a reasonable price. My low rating is due to the fact that they were shipped in the same box that they were sold in, which provided very little protection during transit. The filters are made of a brittle material that is easily mangled, and any drop or squeeze of the box causes damage to the filter, affecting its functionality. One of the filters I received has a few dings, while the other appears to be in good condition. Putting them in a second protective box would provide much more protection for the filters.
I couldn't tell the difference between this and the original water panel I was trying to replace. Great price, especially when compared to what local HVAC distributors were asking for the same item. In addition, Amazon provided me with lightning-fast delivery. Before you install the new water panel, make sure you read the instructions. because there's a top side (with a dark stripe painted on it) and a bottom side. This will save you the trouble of having to open the unit a second time to check, only to discover that the new water panel is installed backwards, requiring you to reinstall it. merely stating the obvious.
I couldn't be happier with the part and the price. My humidifier is relatively new, and the model number was not listed on the box, but my original owner's manual indicated that this was the correct unit, so I ordered it. Exactly what I needed! Because the item is original equipment manufacturer, it is the perfect size for my machine. The price was a pleasant surprise, as the HVAC company had quoted nearly five times the price for this part, plus a $200 service call to install it! It's extremely simple to install and requires no tools. It comes with instructions that show you how to do it. There are also a lot of YouTube videos on it. If you're slow, it'll take you ten minutes to put it in. br>Couldn't be more pleased! Winner! The right part, at the right price, and with ease of installation!.
My first review was turned down because I mentioned the shipping in it. The photos I've attached will allow you to make your own judgment. I will say that they made it right when I emailed them, and I'm happy with the product for the price. br>br>I included a photo of the factory original part it is replacing so you can compare the size, etc. for yourself. They are the same thickness, as far as I can tell. The original is the rust-colored one (I'm a new homeowner, so forgive me, lol). I'm a little concerned that the "mud" on the mesh is a little excessive, which could obstruct air flow and make my system work harder, which is why I gave it a four-star rating. The one in the photo is the worst of the four I received (the angle of the photo makes it appear worse than it is), but the other three are extremely close to the original. Overall, it's not perfect, but given that it's meant to be replaced every year, I'd buy it again.
These are the perfect size for my Bryant whole-house humidifier. This replacement appears to be identical to the one that was included with my system. At the start of the winter season, I change them out. I like that the orientation mark is a visible color dot that should be facing up in the holder. It slides right into the plastic frame and takes only a few minutes to put together.
Last year, I purchased a two-pak. The first one I used a month ago didn't have an even flow of water down the pad. I've been using these from this vendor for years, and this is the first time I've heard water running straight down the pad and into the drain. The water flow has now been evenly distributed. I recently purchased a four-pack of Aprilaire's products from Amazon. This supplier's behavior has changed, and it is unacceptable.
It fits in my Aprilaire whole-house humidifier but does not appear to get "wet. " " The majority of the water drains into the drain, and my humidity does not rise significantly. " Other pads I've used appeared to be more absorbent in holding the water and dispersing it into the air.
Arrived on time, in excellent condition, and well-packaged. Because I have allergies, I tried to see if there was anything in the OEM filter that was superior in that regard, as there is with air purifiers, but I couldn't find anything in the Carrier descriptions. Note - If you don't use the humidifier with the filter, you'll get a lot of 'humidity' that you didn't expect! Keep in mind - Other vendors indicated that shipping would take a long time.
