Yes, it certainly is! It's compatible with Models H12400HB, H12300HB, and H12600, according to the paperwork that comes with it.

What is the procedure for replacing the humidifier filter on a 4DTS900 humidifier?

This operation must be performed outside, and you must ensure that the tank is completely empty of water before removing the filter.

Once a month, we change the filter. Is this something that happens frequently? They used to last about 2-years when we first bought this system. 3 months. ?

I'm not sure why you're having to replace them, but ours were stinking up the place, and we use a water treatment every time we fill the tanks. This is beneficial. Running on low for 24 hours a day, seven days a week is also beneficial. The wicks have not gotten stinky as a result of this. Because we only run during the winter, we only have to replace the wick once a year. (December to February) from March to May- ish)

There are two wicks that aren't functioning properly

I got two wicks in the mail. At least one of them absorbs very little water and adds very little humidity to my house. I was only there for two weeks. I haven't tried the second one yet, so I'm not sure if it's defective. Is it possible for you to swap these two out? I've ordered a lot of these over the years and have never had a problem with them. I believe these two are faulty, and I can return them in their original packaging. br>John Pritt.

Running with hard water is costly

This viewpoint is based on how our water is handled by the filters. It lasts about a month and a half, which makes running the humidifier very expensive, and the top is difficult to replace after installing the new filter because the humidifier float has to be nestled in a specific spot.
