I've had a Krups espresso machine for 6 years, and in that time I've broken two glass cups, and I've memorized when to start steaming because I make espresso every morning. This is an excellent substitute because I will no longer have to worry about breaking glass. For someone who is new to making espresso, I can see this cup being a little challenging because it would be difficult to keep track of when to start steaming milk. Because my machine isn't particularly sophisticated, it doesn't have an on/off switch; instead, it is either brewing or steaming. There is a point in the middle where both can be stopped, but I'd rather not put the machine through that. The law has a budget of $300,000. He's gone through three of the $400 machines with that feature in the last seven years because the seals have failed.

It performs admirably. It says 4 cups, but the 4 cup mark is halfway down the Carafe, so it's probably a 6-cup Carafe. When the cup is full, it measures 8 cup. br>br>I ordered this after dropping my glass Carafe on the floor like a spaz. This arrived in a matter of days and works perfectly! I dropped this one as well, and it didn't even bend, making it an excellent replacement for anyone who is as clumsy as I am. br>br>It's difficult to tell how much espresso is in the cup, which is a pain if your machine is prone to watering down. put the coffee down.

It's a close enough match to the stock carafe that it's barely noticeable. The only thing I don't like about it is that there are no markings on the side to indicate how much water is in it. That's not surprising given that it's a universal replacement, but you'll have to experiment with a few watery or overly strong batches before determining how much water your machine requires. The lack of a top hasn't been a major issue. I was worried it would spray all over the coffee maker's side, but that hasn't happened. I believe it is slightly taller and wider than the original, and the carafe is about the same height as the old one's carafe top, so that's taken care of. Because you don't make espresso or cappuccino and then leave it to cool, the lack of a top to keep the heat in isn't a deal breaker. br>br>Probably the only thing I'd change is to put some universal markings down the side, maybe 20 milliliter increments or something, to make it easier to repeat the correct amount of water once you figure out what your machine requires. br>br>If you're looking at this, it's because the glass one that came with it broke, and if you don't want to buy another one, this appears to be the one to get.

Coffee Espresso Machine is an exact replacement! Because the Amazon comments section irritates me, this is the first time I'm reviewing a product. Amazon appears to be adding comments from a previous version of the product to this one! As far as I can tell, the older product was of lower quality (as evidenced by the photos taken by customers). br>br>The one I received is the same one they're selling, and it's a near-exact replica of Mr. Coffer's espresso machine glass container. Over the previous four years, We've broken two glass ones in the last five years, so this time we wanted something more durable, and we discovered that stainless steel replacements are available. br>br>Long story short, after 15 days of research, we finally ordered this one and are very pleased with it; the steel is not of high guage, but it is decent quality for the price, and unless you bang and throw your utensils, I believe this replacement will outlast its glass counterpart!.

Instead of the glass carafes I've had before, I prefer the sturdiness of the metal. The only issue is that the engraving on the inside does not face the correct direction. person who is right-handed Because the markings are only engraved on one side, you must either hold it in your left hand or lean over, which isn't a big deal, but I wish they had engraved them on both sides or all the way around. Aside from that, the product is fantastic.

I just received it, so I can't comment on its durability, but it appears to be well constructed and not flimsy. Works great with both my Krups maker and my coffee in the photos; the lid from the Krups crafe fits loosely but securely enough to prevent spray. The maximum number of shots from the Krups is about an inch below the carafe's rim. It appeals to me. It took a long time to arrive, and there was no tracking information (ughh, mail innovations), but it was well-packaged. Darnit, I wish I'd ordered two.

Because the product currently being sold has changed significantly, I had to delete my review from my original purchase four years ago. After becoming frustrated with how easily glass carafes broke and how time-consuming it was to clean up broken glass, I switched to a stainless steel replacement carafe. I made the right decision, and the steal carafe lasted me four years. After 4 years of daily use and more than a few drops, the handle finally broke off, so I ordered this replacement. It appears to be of good quality, but the metal is considerably thinner than the previous model. Don't put too much pressure on the cup.
