This basket was delivered to me, but it was missing the Nanotech coating.
This basket was purchased to replace the Calphalon Temp IQ's double-walled pressurized two-shot filter basket. I took out the old basket and replaced it with the new one when I got this product. The new filter basket's shoulder made it impossible for it to seat properly in the portafilter. With a hammer and a couple of wood blocks, I re-fit the shoulders, but if you're looking for an exact fit for the Calphalon Temp IQ espresso machine, this won't work. I hope you find this review to be beneficial.
With the new basket, I've made about 20 attempts. The grind and weight have been fine-tuned, and the machine is pulling strong. The part that irritates me the most is that the puck has never come out completely clean. Despite the fact that Nanotech is a major selling point, it does not appear to be a useful feature.
It's such a small purchase, but it makes such a big difference. You don't know what you're looking for if you require me to go into specifics. It all depends on how accurate you want your pulled shot to be.
