No, the EN550BK1 isn't compatible.
Yes, it certainly will! Regrettably, the Amazon source might not be entirely trustworthy. The first one he sent me got stuck in Italian customs, according to him. The following one was postponed due to a "bad batch." I gave up on him and purchased one from an English company, which was cheaper even after shipping. The new top, on the other hand, actually makes milk!

The EN560B was a Christmas gift from my husband. It appeals to me greatly. I accidentally dropped one of the small pieces of the milk frother down the garbage disposal and didn't realize it until a little over a month later, while suffering from a terrible cold. I was completely heartbroken after chopping it up. This set's piece fit perfectly into my existing frother, and I now have a whole bunch of extras!.
I use it at least six times every morning almost every day. After each use, the manufacturer recommends pressing the 'clean' button on the top. When I first got my machine, however, I completely disregarded this advice, and the original "milk cover assembly" became clogged to the point where it could no longer dispense milk. I attempted to disassemble it, but to no avail. br>As a result, I purchased a new assembly for a very low price. When I make a latte or cappuccino, I now use the 'clean' button, which forces extremely hot water through the assembly. It's similar to when I clean the whole machine, which is fantastic! 👍 😋.
The price was reasonable, and the problem of no foaming milk was resolved. (Yes, we had already tried cleaning, dishwashing, etc. ) There was a small spring in the part that connected the milk assembly to the actual machine that was hanging out. Unfortunately, that particular component could not be purchased separately, so we purchased this, which was actually quite affordable and included all of the necessary components. That took care of the issue.
Although it was difficult to tell if this one would work with my machine, I emailed the seller, who confirmed that it would. It worked out perfectly. I didn't have much of a color choice, so it's a little mismatched, but it's a lot better than buying a brand new machine; the froth is the same, and everything functions normally. This is fantastic.
As expected, it functions properly. This is a fantastic substitute. As expected, it functions properly. Even though this comes with five parts - it saved me from having to buy a new machine just for one small part. I only require one of the components - It was still less expensive than buying a new machine when the old one was still working, and why create any more waste than we already have? In today's world, it's best to keep things running as long as possible.
Concerning it, I have mixed feelings. This is the second time I've had to purchase one. After only a few uses, the first one had stopped producing foam. Which is both the best part and the entire point. As a result, I had to go out and get a new one. Let's see how long this goes on for. br>br>Following that, after using the second foam maker, it worked fine for the first few uses but then stopped working as well. Ugh, I'm downgrading to a one. It was a waste of money.
e. , and the fold out pipe from which the steamed milk is emitted). It was not included in the package. I had to return the device, and I'm not sure this vendor is trustworthy enough for me to order it again in the hopes of receiving the entire device this time.
This was ordered to replace an older unit that was still working but looked a little gross after sitting in the fridge for a week with milk in the container. A new "straw" was required. But I figured I'd just go ahead and buy the entire replacement top. The new top was never functional. The milk is not frothed. I also missed the return window, so I guess I'm stuck with it.
