Only certain Gree Vireo and Livo models will be compatible with this.
Only certain Gree Vireo and Livo indoor units are compatible with this wifi kit. A wire plug is located in an enclosed area under the front lid on compatible models.
Unsure about that particular model, though it may not be necessary due to the fact that other LIVS models on the list require a different module. I suggest going to the Gree website or an HVAC supplier's website and looking up the specifications for that specific model.

During the holidays, it was delivered earlier than expected, and it works. Happy with your purchase and would like to add a few pointers that may have gotten lost in translation or are unique to your country. I have six indoor units: four 9000 btu units and two 18000 btu units. Because the 9k units came with the WiFi module while the others did not, I purchased two to get the entire system online. br>br>Installing the module was simple and took about 5 minutes because I did the installation and am familiar with wiring inside the cover. Even if you don't know where the wire is, it's fairly easy to find it. If you're unfamiliar with the electrical panel on the unit, make sure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker or the disconnect at the outside unit. If you don't finish this step, you'll be shocked when you touch the wire connections inside. In my unit (18k Livo Gen3), the WiFi wire had an oddly shaped cap on the connector. To connect the module, you must first remove it. In addition, the wire routing in my unit is restricted beneath the interior electric access cover because the wire channel is insufficiently deep. The wire routing varies depending on the unit type and size. The instructions include some illustrations, but they are small. When you install the Gree app on your device, you'll be prompted to restart the WiFi module. To use the indoor unit, turn it off and press the two buttons on the remote until it beeps. The buttons you press depend on the type of remote you're using, but the app's instructions will direct you once you've chosen one. Then, using the app's prompts, connect the device to your WiFi network and make it available in the app. br>br>Alexa will be able to control your temperatures using this device. Look for the skill that has your global region when choosing a skill in the Alexa app. I'm in the United States, and I needed to locate a skill that ended in NA, which stands for North America. Other skills that sound like the one you're looking for are listed, but your account will not be found, and you won't be able to install it. The temperatures can then be adjusted using the Gree app's unit names. br>br>In most cases, the module isn't required to run the unit. You'll need this if you're a techie who wants to be able to control your devices with your phone or Alexa. It's also ideal for landlords who want to change the temperature in vacant units without having to physically visit them.
The instructions were a little difficult to follow.
