It appears to be in good working order, and the efficiency ratings are comparable to units costing twice as much. Longevity may be an issue, but it appears to be in good working order for the time being.
WARNING: This is not a game for the faint of heart, but if you make it this far, you will be rewarded handsomely. br>All of the split units I've seen are incredibly efficient and quiet, and this one is no exception, meeting the specifications for noise, power, cooling, heating, and appearance. br>Cons: br>Remote control appears to be unconcerned about how its numerous complex functions are configured: br>The wall unit beeps to indicate that it has received the command, but then ignores it. Totally. br>Auto appears to be the only mode that works! (73- 77 degrees)br>It might as well be an "On Off" command with just one button. No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No The "Up/Down" vent oscillator command DOES work, but the "Left/Right" command has no discernible effect on airflow control? br>I'm sure it has nothing to do with my installation because the cooling/heating and other functions are all working fine. Manually. Given conflicting information and a dizzying array of incompletely spelled out device names with which the App appears to be compatible, it's impossible to get the EWPE Smart APP to recognize the unit. br>br>Overall, I'm very happy I got this, and you'll never use a box/window air conditioner again to stay cool in our new Heatwave reality. br>.
Ascertain that you have all of the necessary components. You'll require the services of a professional in the field of heating and air conditioning.
