Questions & Answers

Is it possible that the measurements are incorrect? The specifications state that it is only 5. 9" in width. ?

No, I just measured it at 20h x 14w x 11dbr>But mine has a pair of boots and a helmet stuffed inside, so it might be a little bulging. It's a fantastic purse. It also has a water-resistant bottom, which is fantastic. It also has the capacity to hold more items. As an example, gloves

Has anyone tried to fly with this bag? Is it possible to use it as a carry-on when it's packed full of boots, helmets, and other gear?

On a recent trip, I double-checked it. It will fit in the overhead compartment of a typical commercial plane (depending on the plane). For my trip within Canada, the OH was too small; even roller bags were checked at the gate) *IF* the packed bag's width is limited to the width of two pairs of boots packed tightly side by side, and the bag's side pockets aren't stuffed. On top of the helmet is a visor.

Is there any padding on the sides of this bag to give it more structure?

There isn't any foam padding in this chair.

Is there any drainage grommets in the boot compartment?

There are no grommets available.

For kids, it's great, but how about adults?   Because the box was so small, I was apprehensive when I first opened it
4/5

However, do not be fooled by the size. The bag is large enough to accommodate all of my son's belongings without difficulty. I bought it for my snowboarding son, who is 11 years old. And his clothing is just right. But, given that my boots are a size 11, can it handle adult gear? All of the gear is XL, and there are five of them. I enjoy bringing a large quantity of it. Is there enough room in this bag to hold everything? Yes, if you're willing to put some effort into it. I intend to buy another one for myself if this works as advertised on the actual mountain! Pros: large, waterproof bottom, overall material, chest strap, side pockets, front pocket, two loop handles Cons. There is no waist belt, no extra loops, and no place to put a water bottle; a better design would allow the boot section to be 'customized. ' Although the amount of space in the front pouch is limited, the boot section has plenty of room.

Excellent value for money Our family of five started/returned to skiing this season, and many friends recommended a boot/gear bag specifically for the kids so that they can pull their own weight. It also facilitates packing and storage. It appears to be similar to the Dakine design, which I liked but was less expensive. In addition, Dakine reviews wished for a waterproof bottom, which this model has. The only way to know for sure is to wait. Also, instead of getting a kid bag that would need to be replaced, children could grow into an adult bag. Because these appear to be a new release, Outdoor Master offered a discount for a while, so I ordered one every week for five weeks at $36 each to fit our budget. I checked the first one for stitching and zipper quality, packed it, and walked around before deciding to move on because the sale had ended and I still needed one. I'm a gearhead and a picky shopper, and I'm satisfied with my purchases and reasonably confident in the products' performance, especially at this price point. So far, it's only been used on one trip and has lived up to expectations. If necessary, I'll make a change. Outdoor Master's customer service responds within ten minutes to questions.

I am extremely happy
5/5

I recently received this boot backpack and am extremely pleased with my purchase. It has a lot of pockets and space for gear like goggles, helmets, gloves, knee pads, food, leggings, socks, and so on. It compares favorably to my previous Dakine boot backpack I bought several years ago in every way- It is less expensive, has a better appearance, is more durable on the outside, and has more pockets.

It's a bag that goes with you wherever you go
5/5

I really like this ski bag. It's my first trip with it, and it actually fits all of my ski gear under the seat in front of me. Put your boots, pants, jacket, gloves, helmet, and goggles in the bag, and you should have plenty of room left over. Size 26 is my size. 5 boots, which I'm sure wouldn't fit under the chair in front of you if you have big feet. United Airlines still treats it as a personal item, for what it's worth.

This is a good quality backpack boot bag for the price, and it should last for years
4/5

It's quite thin and feels a little less expensive than I anticipated. Another person in my house has a Dakine bag that is better quality (stronger/more durable) and even appears to be a little bigger (even though both say 50L capacity), but it is almost twice the price, so I guess you get what you pay for here. This one, on the other hand (OutdoorMaster Ski Boot Bag - Black) The (Ski and Snowboard Boots Travel Backpack with Helmet Compartment) does have a few extra smaller zipper pockets on the outside that Dakine doesn't have and that people seem to want (although I don't use them because I don't carry my car keys in this bag). Both have plenty of room and compartments for boots, gloves, goggles, helmets, and other accessories, but I prefer this style to the V-neck. ones with a shape I considered the Amazon Basics bag as well, but I didn't want the Amazon logo on my ski boot bag.

Streamlined and lightweight
4/5

This is an exceptionally well-written piece. designed a light-weight boot bag It's more compact than many bootbags, which is a plus. I didn't need a bag to carry clothes or anything else besides my boots, gloves, and helmet. These fit easily into this bag, and there's room for more, but not a change of winter clothing. The boots have a single compartment that zips up. The helmet can be zipped into a separate compartment. Additional zippers are available for storing extra items. I simply keep everything in one location so that I do not forget anything when I go skiing. I use the bag as a "locker" because we live in a ski resort. "The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it doesn't stand up on its own once you remove your boots. " I'm sure not having sides that keep the compartment open saves weight, but you do have to hold the compartment open to get your boots in. Because the helmet sits on top of the boots once everything is in, putting your helmet on first makes it more difficult to put your boots on. Having said that, I would buy it again due to its light weight and streamlined footprint. If you've previously used one with rigid sides, it just takes a little getting used to.

Excellent company and product
5/5

First, I had a minor issue, which I brought to the attention of Lucien at Outdoor Master, who promptly and professionally resolved it. I wanted to mention this because most companies do not provide me with that level of service. These people are fantastic. Also outstanding is the bag. I use it as a pool/gym bag, and the material is ideal for that application. It's also a comfortable backpack with easy access to the main compartment (which I use for swim gear). There are a lot of pockets with quick access as well. I have an Osprey duffel and a Thule duffel that I don't use as often as this one because I prefer it. So, what do you make of that?.
