Questions & Answers
There is probably too much space between the skates.
There are some airlines that count skis and boot bags together as one piece of luggage, but skis and boot bags would not fit.
We purchased two sizes and took both on the flight, so you might want to check with the airline online
My attempt has not yet been made. According to the product page, the dimensions are right on the product (13 x 19 x 14 inches), so you should be able to look at airline websites and see if the product

This is quite a snug fit, though. The boot compartment is large enough for a size 9 like me. We also have 5 pairs of boots and 2 pairs In order to protect the bibs, I placed them between the boots in a separate bag. In addition to keeping the boots from rubbing against one another, padding was added to prevent them from rubbing. There is a helmet compartment big enough to fit my helmet (large), along with my goggles, scull cap, and whatever else I can put inside. Inverting the helmet and placing it in the compartment is the correct method. Despite not being too tight, the fit is snug. My gloves, mittens, balaclava, and miscellaneous other items fit easily into the front pocket of this vest. A light sweater or down vest would probably fit as well.
The bag has 2 grab handles and 2 padded shoulder straps, with an adjustable cross chest strap permanently attached to the back, making it easy to wear as a bag as well. If you'd like to carry one strap across your shoulder you can sling the pack As opposed to other boot bags, this bag resembles a backpack and tends to feel more comfortable when carried on the shoulder. Two of the biggest disappointments were You should get off the beaten path. By fixing these two issues, the rating would improve from a 4 to a 5 Bag with a star. It is easy to find bigger bags for about the same price (or even a bit cheaper) with more pockets and features. However, I found these too big and flimsy to carry on my back or to carry. There is still some debate over whether I should keep this bag or keep searching for a new one. They provide lifetime warranties to back up the quality of their products. Despite the fact that this bag is very durable, I wish it had additional pockets and a rubberized bottom.
It is my preference to travel with a backpack It is cool to have style boots, but I hate being overwhelmed with gear/boot bags that are so big they could carry a microwave. If you're looking for something smaller, your options are limited. I had to go to the Dakine website to see more pictures than what was provided on the product page before making my decision, and I was Despite its small size, the design is very efficient in terms of space usage. Please take a look at the photos I am posting so you know what I'm There is a compartment on the back door under the front pocket where you are able to put a few small articles of clothing or accessories. The boot toes simply fit under the pocket. I found the pocket to be a nice size and would hold a variety of relatively flat items - goggles, extra gloves, hand warmers, and so on. Additionally, the boot tops have a compartment built in for the helmet. In this way, it makes the pack a little taller than most smallish boot bags, but it is still relatively small. It holds quite a bit You need to know that if you check this box as airline luggage, there is not enough padding in the helmet compartment to keep your helmet from getting dinged up. Put some bubble wrap or a fleece wrap around it to make sure it does not get damaged. This pack should also work as a carry-on. Normally you would put it in an overhead bin when on a full-service flight Plane of reasonable size (I haven't measured the dimensions, so don't hold me to it). As with a backpack you would wear on a hike, the straps on this pack are padded and sturdy, and there is a cross-body strap attached to each one. A buckle enables the straps to be secured to the pack. Additionally, the bag has a couple of handle straps that are designed to allow you to easily move the bag from place to place. There is a lot of functionality built into this backpack boot bag, and I am delighted that all of these qualities have been packed into a small.
There's no regret in it at all. The size is not quite right. In it, there is enough room, but the entire storage is in the boot. You could use it to hold a helmet, but it won't be in a dedicated pocket unless you use the small pocket on It will all fall down if you put your jacket in there with your boots, since nothing will hold it up on the outer (away from your back) side. You can put your jacket into your boots, but I wasn't sure it was going to be enough. My favorite part is the little pocket up top that I use for my gloves and ski socks. The 75L has it. A pocket is built into that one (for supporting the bag), and it is deep enough to hold the helmet and goggles beautifully. It's big enough that I can even fit my ski jacket and pants into it. For my drive and my ski excursion I will place a water bottle and snacks in the pockets on the side of the backpack. There is no doubt that it holds all of it. I found the material to be a lot more durable than the 50L bag. I don't even have to worry about the zippers anymore. (This may seem like it's a big step up in size, but it gets just a bit bigger in each direction to get a lot Taking the time to do this will be a great decision!.
Our pants are placed at the bottom of the bag for cushioning and our jackets between them since there is no divider or padding. As far as whether it fits in an overhead compartment, I don't know. The overhead compartments on airplanes seem to differ in size. I think if you take out your helmet from the storage compartment you would fit it in the over head compartment of regular planes, but not the small For scale, I am 5'9", so the picture is of the 50L bag, which has more pockets on the side. I also purchased the 55L bag, and the biggest difference is the extra pockets on the side.
What a great idea! This works great on ski boots! Since I ski and snowboard, I was concerned that it might not work with ski boots. So many things fit in there, such as my boots, jacket, pants, fleece, goggles, and gloves, and there is room in there for more! It is really the perfect bag for you whether you ski or snowboard, and it is very comfortable too. The design had me thinking things would get a little right, but it is really the perfect bag. I am really happy with my purchase and I have already recommended it to many people!.
